Nine out of ten "forum statistics" are utter bull****, yours included.
Originally by: Gareth Orkney I can whine, too - I'd be more than happy to venture out into lowsec space if it weren't for the punk in his brand new Elite frigate (which he probably didn't even buy for himself, much less BUILD himself) who has nothing better to do than pop mining ships for the hell of it.
Threats in lowsec are not new pilots who were just given their very first tech 2 frig by their corp, and delving into piracy. There is a fine line between whining and rambling, its called coherence.
Originally by: Gareth Orkney But that's the reality, so I don't go there until I've got the corpmates to instantly pop any yellow label that shows up within 100km of my barge.
No, that is not reality. Thats your twisted perception of the game, brought about by pant-wetting fear of danger (aka. carebearism). Until you drop the idea that you need overwhelming force to survive in dangerous space, you'll never go there in your entire life.
Originally by: Gareth Orkney Many of you wanna-be pirates are just pitiful, anyway. I saw a guy in a dread in 0.4 space trying to scare newbies into giving him money, and he started squealing like a little girl when one of his marks turned out to be an alt character for someone in an anti-pirate corp with over 200 long-term members, every one of whom was flying, at minimum, a well-stocked battleship.
Why must you turn these forums into a house of lies? Any self respecting pirate wouldn't give a damn about dreadnaughts, and any self respecting dreadnaught pilot would know how utterly useless they are for anything but POS-bashing. Not to mention niether one would squeal like a girl at the prospect of some faceless alt threatening to bring the wrath of their 200 friends. And thats totally ignoring the fact that there are no "long term" anti-pirate corps with 200 members, and never were. But its okay, you can tell us more stories just make sure to add the "fictional crap I made up in my head" disclaimer next time.
Originally by: Gareth Orkney You want to complain about people who won't come out of empire? STFU and start learning some Manufacturing skills then, because you folks out shooting up newbies would be nothing but podmeat if it weren't for the people in Empire space building the equipment that you so arrogantly use.
I'm lost here, what are you trying to say? That people should learn manufacturing skills if they wish to aimlessly shoot people? That shooting up newbies who don't have the said manufacturing skills is going to dry up the markets? That Empire space dwellers are the sole proprietors of all blueprints and manufacturing capability? Somebody should tell those alliances and pirate alts to stop churning out capital ships and hacs, this man is clearly trying his best.
