Best I've found would have been my own Bellicose, dumped on a SS and which I'd forgotten about a few weeks previously.
I was wondering why it was green on overview as I flew up to it too...

ah well, day i found the comet, i did my first 3/10 complex. first ship i killed dropped a vigilant BPC. built that, took it out, found a drifting cann by station, and extracted a succubus BPC xD
something related to a friend of mine: he was, tbh, flat broke. hes a PvPer and had been flying a thorax or some ****e for ages, so i made him a megathron, and just told him to pay me back whenever.
about 30 mins later he convos me, and says "I JUST GOT A VINDICATOR BPC!"
lucky bugger killed like 3 rats and then got the BPC...he then went on to sell it or whatever, and became teh rich. well, for the few minutes before he bought some other obscenely expensive BS =P

Only thing I've ever "salvaged" was an Iteron I that my brother noticed floating in front of a super-busy station. A wonder no one else took it - and gotta wonder why it was there to begin with

I found a Titan last night in Jita.
since I still had about 289 days until Titan 1 completes, I popped it.

My best "acquisition" so far was an unmanned Armageddon after busting the safespot it was on. This was long before scan probes, did it the hard way. That Arma served me well until it was pwnd by Sanshas a couple months later.

I found 2 Hulk T2 mining barges a couple weeks ago 
Some other corp had just popped a hauler and they dropped out so my alt quickly jumped into them and docked. Returned one just cos I'm a nice guy hehe.

Hmmm, best ship or greatest value?
Best ship to use sofar is a fully fitted Raven, some other BS a few cruisers, don't bother with frigates.
Best find however was a Mammoth with 4x27% expanders and a crapload of zyd and mega loaded.
Any ship I find I can't fly I let a mate know, he does the pick up and then we split the profit, same works the other way around.
Ow and they aren't really abandoned, just left in place for me to retrieve them.
So if ya find a ship floating please contact me if I am online and I will drop by to pick it up.
Better to try and fail, then to fail due to not trying |

I found an abandoned Omen sitting 1000000 km from a gate in empire space... I can't fly it though, but it is STILL there sitting for a month.
The Omen is in the system Renyn, close to the Du Annes gate. **** out some 3au scan probes it's all yours.

well, a while ago there was a Celestis on Ourselart, i couldnt fly gallente cruisers but whatever. I asked someone in local if they wanted to buy the ship and they did. Easy money and i got 6mil:)
