To be honest, I'm sick of retards talking down about what m0o did after the hibernations. Just because it wasn't possible to camp major empire chokeholds with the same effectiveness anymore doesn't mean we did run around kicking the living **** out of everyone we came in contact with. We would have to change regions every two weeks because once people realized we were there the entire place would become a ghosttown.
The biggest problems m0o faced was some leadership difficulties, and a huge membership turnover (most people we recruited never made it past trial, and the m0o playstyle also didn't appeal to everyone).

Ah, Mara. For several days all I did was eat, sleep, and camp Mara. I flew in my Omen with 4x heavy modulated pulses and a full rack of stamped heat sinks. We killed everyone, even that indy with the mwd, eventually.
One day I logged on and found out that GMs came in BSes in Mara and shot at us, blowing up one of our cruisers. I managed to jump out quickly, one volley having taken out all my shields.
This was before there were sentry guns in low sec. They never attacked us outside of Mara as far as I know.

I was blessed enough to join m0o before they disappeared from eve for good.
It still brings a tear to my eye.

I tip my hat to the memory of m0o. grievers to many friends of some, personally I spent days flying along side them, trying to learn to pvp in a rupture,into yz-lql listening to thier unothodox TS conversations that only seem to have gotten worse as the night went on but it was fun none the less. the good ol' days are gone but the memories will never die

m0o TS > any other TS.
Also the corpchats were hilarios, im getting off just buy reading year old logs, how we grifed Wolfman out of m0o and then fairlane had to apolagise and lure him back

I remember being in 4C-B7X in my shiny new Thorax sometime in July 2003 with a couple corpmates when some guy named "The Revenend" and a couple M0o warped into a belt and his ship looked a little large - it was a Scorpion - the first battleship I had seen in the game (there were very few at the time and they were extremely expensive to build).
I was so entranced looking at this ship that I had never seen before that I almost didn't hear the targeting sound, but being being the carebear that I was at the time, I was able to run away quickly. My corpmates were not so fortunate.
m0o definately brought fear to people who knew about them way back then. And those times were some of the best times I've had in the game.

even when i started playing in may 2004 m0o were still a very, very dangerous entity. They were the only corp that actually made me nervous when they jumped into system.
I lost my first BS to them, and then ended up buying the replacement from another m0o member, lol. They definetly made the game interesting.

our "Dirty money" came from a couple of places 1) Stealing safe spotted ships back when it was actually a skill to do so and 2) most m0o memebers have/had at least 2-3 accounts and honestly the alts of m0o could probably ravial most industrial corps, it has always been a stipulation too that you have to be self sufficent in m0o or any of its later incarnations like trs, fzn, atuf, etc
so there you go were dirty miners
edit: and ffs hodet make that damn history so we dont have these damn threads popping up every couple months
