Has anyone else just been disconnected from either Tranq or Singularity and now receive the error "Unable to connect to 87.237.38.200 on port 26000"? Happened about 16:22 GMT, 02:22 here in AU.
The IP is responding to ping, but a telnet connection to said port is not accepted.
Anyone?
Also, can anyone fill me in on the policy of what happens vis players players who lose ships/equipment destroyed during server problems such as this? I was right in the middle of a fight with three NPC pirates...

Edited by: Tharrn on 24/04/2006 16:37:00 If the server died the pirates didn't continue to pew pew you. If it's just a general connection problem serverside you should be refunded an eventual ship loss (takes severall weeks usually though).
Edit: if it's not the gameserver but some server in between you and CCP you are out of luck.

/me too
As for any loss, all you can do is petition, be patient and hope for the best.

Interesting - it appears some people are not affected.
I'm in AU - I don't suppose those likewise affected are also Down Under? Or perhaps in the APAC region?

"Unable to connect to 87.237.38.200 on port 26000"

Yes same here.
Usually your ship warps out when you loose connection (unless engaged with other players). However if you've lost your ship you can try to petition.

tq is up for me
might be that your connection to the cluster is interrupted somewhere
a traceroute with: tracert 87.237.38.200
might show the problem

I can traceroute to 87.237.38.200 fine. Response times look OK given that the server appears to be UK based. The only thing which doesn't work, is an actual connection to 26000/TCP - almost as if the server stopped listening on that port, or the port was firewalled at some place between here and there.
Strange.
