Looks like 4 hours ago Tau Ceti Federation alliance assembled 150 man fleet and moved in Venal.
They were intercepted first by ERA and OSS alliance in Tribute where they had some fights and after that they moved further in H-PA.
Soon after that looks like D2 r also setting this fleet to negative standings and shooting in them.
I'm asking myself what they looking here in north. Looks like they r not invited by any part from the north conflict.
They have baddly spies who dont know the space left by FIVE and Forsaken Empire itĘs already filled up with new owners?
We can have a press release from them?
Anyway WELCOME TO NORTH french...

Yes TCF is composed of a few French speaking corporations, yes we had a fleet of 200 people in the north tonight, yes there has been a few skirmishes, no there won't be comment nor press release for the time being.

Tau Ceti is an alliance composed of several major french corporations, exception made of the ones member of Galactic Aurora (although official alliance was disbanded, this alliance still exists from what I understood) which didn't take part to this experience.
Main corporations comining to my mind are Section XIII and Colsup, you'll find former FFA member corps as well as former Babylon federal Republic members if I'm not mistaking. This should make a rough 800 members with quite a bunch of pvpers and some industrials.
What are they doing in Venal ? Claiming space.
From what I heard, a 200 strong Tau ceti fleet engaged a 100 strong ERA fleet with success or at least they felt successful (which is usually the only thing that truly matters).
Concerning its members corporations, although I heard pretty bad things from BFR (they kinda got ejected from the north) I can already say that Colsup and Section XIII might be a royal pain in the ass to get rid of: Colsup fought BoB as FA for soooo long I can't really imagine them leaving their new home whatever may happen, as for Section XIII they had some descent successes as Red Alliance.
Sooo... If D2 ain't too bored and decides to NAP (*NAPMANNNN*) Tau Ceti, then ERA and OSS should already forget about venal ^^
I'm surprised nobody saw this coming ^^ Those corps have been discussing this for like 2 weeks on french boards with ts meetings etc... Venal as a target ain't really a big surprise.
Dear friendly customer... Can I have your money ?

QFT, gang as at start of engagement was like 39 friendlies in local with a couple in next system, a hastily assembled fleet tbh, full point of engagementt 248 in local, not more than 60 friendlies with quite a few docked in station afk from before. But I must say a totally smack free fight, welcome to tribute where there is always plenty to shoot at and get shot at in return. The North is the playground every kid wants to play in, so much fun I tell you. everyone who has been here in the north or eastside as a lot describe it, know no peace.Peace was deleted from our lingo a long long time ago.

Succesfull engage? They lost more than they killed on double numbers(or more) againts ERA... And acording with ERA killboard they begining to get slaughtered in H-PA and surrounding systems :D
Anyway will be interesting to see how things will evolve in this configuration: 3 alliance fighting eachother....
Venal claiming by them ... lol its a joke... its already congested by many pilots.
Pipe its blocked by ERA...Roaming ganksquads from ERA/D2/Razor/4s everywhere in Venal and dont forget about 4s & Solid Enterprise who r living in Venal npc stations always beeing ready to undock and gank any intruder...
very interesting... good luck Section 13
cut the crap with the napyBOBstyle we looking for a fair fight :D

Edited by: Myal Terego on 25/04/2006 04:31:51 Where did you think they were going to go? We tossed them out kidna roughly from the south, now they prolly arent moving west to play with BoB. And quite a few alliances up there broke up recently. Seems like prime real estate. And good luck to those that fight em. While we may have bbqed them, thats only because we had at least 2x the able pvp fighters they had. They know how to pvp at least secXIII does, and learned how to pos war like hell under RA. My guess is they will flourish up there.
And tbh.. Good luck guys, I know quite a few fights we had were alot of fun, and some others were rather painful. I didnt really want to omg crush zerg RA we had a good time in that war. So may your ark and crok roids be heavy in the future. And send our regards to Iron heh.

Whatever their objective is, my fellow froggies in TCF are completely lacking in diplomatic acumen and political poise...
I will let D¦ officials make the proper announcements backed up by factual elements, but rest assured that no NAP will be forthcoming.
Bonne chance, chers amis, et que le meilleur gagne.

Edited by: Plutoinum on 25/04/2006 05:44:17 Interesting. I was wondering, if they plan to stay in Curse or take another region. ( I knew only the FFA french corps and the ones that left RA, especially Section XIII. ) Section XIII were neighbors for my whole 0.0 life, first months friends then the main enemies in the region. Personally I wish them good luck with this. Go Tau Ceti ! Hehe.

Hell we had approx 35 bs, and 10 support ships. Incoming fleet was 187 in size when they jumped. 60ish bs according to other scouts, i gave up counting when they started jumping....
and for future reference jumping 187 people into a system all at once means you are going to get slapped by the lag monster EVERY time.
They held the field, we killed more.

From what I understood GA disbanded because the executor corp (Nemesis Advanced I believe) was about to get expelled by the other corporations. So they decided that they would disband the alliance in order not to let anybody else become the executor (the other corporations didn't appreciate it that much it seems). The other corporations (ODN mainly) aren't part of Tau Ceti atm. (neither is Nemesis Advanced)

Main corporations ...
You're well informed Elenia ... just wanted to point that out.
Anyways, Good luck to the Tau Ceti Federation.
Originally by: Remedial AFAIK GA disbanded, is there any relation between the GA french corps and the Tau Ceti french corps?
-A- didn't disband it was forced to by the executor corp. The main corps are still active and working together. Just like Elenia Kheynes sais, well more or less ...
Because you know him as "Olyyy" ;)
Anyways, ppl should stop whining about a new threat comming to north. Isnt more fun at least ?
BKG is allready in rush but, afaik, TCF can deal with that and got the man/firepower to take it.
We should all wait & see what's happend in next weeks, interresting things in sight...
