Try that on my cat Albert and you'll be wondering who pirated your epidermis!
To the OP well I guess pick targets that you know can afford the loss, I mean it will teach them to be more careful in future and who knows they might just change their lifestyle because of it to something much more exciting than mine and build yet another ship.........

Got my first kill when I was 2 days old. Can't help but want to kill helpless people in lo-sec now. Character initially started as an outlet of frustration, but now it's more of a... addiction.
First kill was done without a scrambler (as I couldn't use one yet) ;).

I was TOTALLY excited after I formed my new corporation, so I immediately ran out to a .4 system and started camping a belt. While out there, I had the experience of killing my first neutral. I was so upset about it that I actually gave him 6.5 mil isk to buy a new Thorax and apologized. I told him I was new at pirating and he laughed.
Anyway, yeah. I'll get better at this, I hope.
That was lol..:)

Your not scaming/greifing or betraying peoples trust, your just playing the game to your chosen profession. Dont paye compensation! Take it from some one who's anti-pirate and been the victiom of piracy himself: they knew the risks when they entered low sec and untill they learn how to avoid pirate ganks they need to be taught. _______________________________________________

And the cycle of delicious abuse continues. I learned about piracy by getting pirated. My heart pounded, my breathing got shallow; I was full of adrenaline.
At first I was angry! Outraged! "What gives that guy the right," I thought. Then I remembered that old axiom: might makes right. So I headed on over to the Crime and Punishment section, spent a few days reading, strapped on a scrambler and some crappy guns and went hunting... got some kills, got blown up alot, and actually had fun with Eve.
Thank god for pirates, otherwise this game would just be "Sim-Space". ---

Hey, you read me wrong, i love an engagement with a pirate, they're amongst the most experienced PvP'ers. Had some good times with pirates. Although sometimes they show up at the most incovenient and annoyong times. --------------------------

I decided to make this character after being in Eve for abit to experience the thrill of the hunt. I have had some fighting experience and knew how to setup a ship alright. 4 days in I decided to take my shiny new rifter out to a .4 and do abit of belt hunting. Scanning the belt I found a loan Osprey, jumped in scrambled him, decided it was best to keep him scrambled as I killed off his drones, and then proceded to blow his ship up. He then took to telling me in local that it was a waste of my ammo to blow him up.
To be honest finding him and the first few seconds of trying to scramble him, I really thought he would jump out as I landed in the belt, were the most exciting. I wasn't really satisfied blowing his ship up, I missed scrambling the pod. But then a few minutes passed after I had looted his can and then proceded to place all the modules I looted up in the same system's market. What do I see, the guy I blew up was the one that baught all the fittings. For some reason that defenently made me smile since the fittings were worth enough to buy another rifter and some fittings, not worth the ammo indeed. |
