On 1 of my accounts I can log in and do whatever I want just fine...
On my other... It takes about 30 minutes to login then when I finally get the char loaded (15 mins) I can't change skill... my BS lvl 5 skill says "Completion Eminent" and won't change and I can't change to anoter skill... my eve mail and chat works only 1 way... I can see other people type crap but no one can see what I write... It's like I have a read only accout?
Help?

I am also stuck!
What is worse, my training finished while stuck and there goes again time without training which is the ABSOLUTE worst thing that can happen to you in EVE.
I didn't petition for time lost training during the last update, where I lost almost 3 days of training but this time I will.
Why should I lose training time when without any warning EVE crashes on us?
Stuck in paara btw.

Stuck at gate to Jita. Cant login (after a succesful quit).....
Second time in two days. Someone must have found some way to &^*#& the system. I guess....

Yep, I am stuck in paara too, for the second time within 4 hours.
Seems that this and surrounding systems have some serious problems today.

Hi @ll,
my brother has the same problem. He has a monthly subscription. With my character everything works great (3 month subscription). But what is strange, I see my brother as ONLINE in EVE. Maybe that's why you can't connect due the server thinks you are already connected.

It would be an idea if one of the department who is responsible for correcting this problem came on to tell us what is going on. In the end CCP is a business hench it takes my money and i expect a service for the money i pay. I dont expect just not to be able to use the service with no exlanation of when it will be fixed. I suggest that if this problem persists CCp think about conpensation or for however many days/hours i cant use the game is what i get free at the end of the billing month

I got a response to a petition, telling me to rename my Eve cache file to cache2. I did this, and I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't work, and it resets all of your settings in-game. No response yet to telling them it doesn't work. (I'm petitioning with an alt that DOES work)

Oh, probably worth explaining this isn't just 'Domain' or one area inside EVE, this is galaxy-wide. I've started a few different characters to see if it truly apparent in some of the areas mentioned by you folks and no matter where I put them, after 40mins or so of gameplay, it just lags out and locks the character.
I'm guessing by the lack of a newspost or even comments by the CCP staff that they are, infact on holiday, so we may just have to lay back and accept that some of us won't be able to play until tomorrow, or until they get around to fixing it.
I wonder how they plan to compensate those who have lost items and ships due to this - I realise the EULA states that they won't give discounts or suchforth due to unexpected downtime, but the least they can do is make up for it with some sort of ingame re-imbursment, perhaps a short term training time booster for those affected in order to make up for the time they were unable to change their skills?
Does anybody have any suggestions, bar offering free moths and other insane demands?

I've recently met with eve. I decided to pay the initial 20€ fee to be able to play the game, and now I can't log in anymore :(
They rebooted the server, all was fine. 30 mins later I'm stuck again.
The petitions take over 1 hour to get a response 'high priority' it says ... right.
Also fun is to get a reply 'try deleting those files'.
I've let my friend connect under his account, and he gets the same problems, so it's not the client, it's the server. But hey, don't take my word for it.
I hate 'support' that thinks I'm an idiot and problems reside on the client side. I also hate it when no feedback whatsoever is given. Even a simple post with 'we are unsure what is going in, but following symptoms might indicate to this problem. Please do the following actions to correct it.' I see on the boards that I'm not alone at all, so please take it serious.
These are exactly the reasons why I've stopped playing world of warcraft, and if eve suffers from the same, then I can assure you this is the one and only month you'll be having me as a subscriber.
A very unhappy customer.

This, is garbage.
Stuck in Paara and I haven't been able to properly logon and play for several hours. Even if I get in I can't do a great deal due to massive doses of lag.
I'm going to knock it on the head for tonight, they won't clear things up until tomorrow's downtime since the problem is only affecting a relatively small number of customers.

Oh good, im not the only one that can not log into main character.... and now i just lost my alt in the same area. And yes my skill training just happend to finish after i lost control of the character.
