As the title says.
Curse and Syndicate (the other npc null zones) have way way more stations adn are often a good place to get some casual null pvp. Why isn't GW the same?
Stick more NPC stations there and you will see a lot more people setup home there for more action. At the moment it is more of the Great Wateland rather than Wildlands That is the Way, the Tao.
Balance is everything.

I think it has the perfect amount of stations. Kinda a conflict driver.
Anyways...theres only like 4 small alliances in GW anyways... pretty sure theres plenty of room still. Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

Probably less stations because it is "The Great Wildlands". Kinda in the name. |

That. Thukker are nomads who don't settle down like Serpentis, Angel, Blood Raider or Sansha. GW is a wild wasteland with lots of room for a nomadic life style, exactly what Thukker love, while the other pirates need operation bases and infrastructure to fund and maintain their universe wide operations. Syndicate is an entirely different situation: if you would subtract all the High sec NPC corp stations, you would have considerably less station systems in Syndicate. I haven't thoroughly checked the region, but identified at least 16 systems which have only Non-Syndicate stations and would be station less subsequently. |

There's absolutely nothing stopping you from living out of a POS in the GW. I am the Zodiac, I am the stars, You are the sorceress, my priestess of Mars, Queen of the night, swathed in satin black, Your ivory flesh upon my torture rack. |

Ok so I can understand the lack of stations from a lore point of view however the region as a whole is bloody quiet.
One of the things about the other NPC regions is that they are some of the busiest null regions as they offer easily accessible stations that everyone can dock at.
For solo players like me it give a lot of potential for antics in the region but as it stands there is little to no reason to roam GW as it's pretty much empty of players. Ah well. That is the Way, the Tao.
