Izure	Posted - 2006.05.01 05:17:00 - [1] Well me and 3 other friends were belt hunting. I was in my thorax and 2 were in caracals and 1 a blackbird. I was the scout to find the target while they hugged the gate. SO I found a prophecy. at a belt just got done killing rats I suppose. Go in there do the whole nine yard pirate thing to keep him webbed and scambled. Friends came in jam, open fired on him. So we got him to around structure I asked for a 20 mill ransom. (he was a 1.5 yr old character or around that. He didnt respond. I was checking scanner also and found out that a Rook and a Arazu undocked. So we killed him and he said he was gunna pay but he was already dead. And We didnt receive money. He was Afk when I convo'ed him So we kill him and grabbed the loot. Turns out this guy was Tech 2 fitted and True sansha fitted. We got a true sansha webber true sansha reactor core and a true sansha adaptive membrane 1. And a tech 2 cap recharger 2 1600mm rolled tungsten 4 tech 2 guns that were around 2.2 mill a peice. and some tech 2 drones and tech 2 heat sink. Destroyed was a True sansha PDU . so we got around a 110 mill dollar kill split. and he lost around 150-170 mill I speculate. And before that we killed 2 retrievers with some strip miner 2's and we ransomed a ferox for 15 mill. them 2 kills were with 2 ppl. me a caracal and a blackbird. Just like to post it cause I got alittle excited for getting a 150 mill in 2 hours of time with 4 cruisers and the 2 caracals were sort of new. me and the blackbird were good but not vet's yet. I got all named stuff and he got some tech 2 jammers or something that. Ok so yeah, Im just posting cause im excited. Whats your biggest kills or killing day?

Last night though, had some POS parts I had to pop because like a tard I didn't have the obligatory alt in a hauler near. Oh well, live and learn.

There are alot of carebears\mission ho's out there with VERY expensive setups. Having stories and threads relate to pirates scoring big off of these types of carebears helps to further piracy as a trade in Eve. I think that's a plus.

When the dust settled, I warped back in and there was a lone can about 70km from the battle... I said "what the hell" and went for it... Turns out we bagged a rook, I think it was, and it was all t2 fittings, including a cloaking device and t2 ammo... I still cant figure out what it was, how it died 70km from the battle, and how it died if it had a cloaking device!

Its about max 2 MWD cycles for an interceptor or 35% the max optimal of your regular fleet fitted MegaT. So yeah, a million ways to die. And you need to uncloak to target anything, and hence to jam it. Other than that rooks go down almost like BBs.

Absolution jumps in and decloaks aligning to the gate but doesn't warp(don't ask me why, he didn't even try to engage us). We lock him and scramble and he doesn't tank at all. When he was in structure I convoed him and told him to pay 200m and he would be free to go. He told me he only had 78m and I say to bad. Then he sais he will pay 88m. We kill him and get fullytech 2 fitted loot with true sansha heat sink, tech 2 ammo and lasers and Centum A-Type Medium Armor Repairer(best ingame). oh and a 15th tier overseer's personal effects Need a Sig? I got a low-grade slave delta (35mil) from a true sansha at day 12 for example. I hunt with my little Punisher rats in 0.3 => peace of cake ____________________________________________________________
