Yes, I know what you're talking about. I'm simply pointing out that what you're saying holds true for both camps and that, if anything, the ones who are raging over him are currently displaying far worse behaviour than he did. The problem with this is that, at the end of the day, chances are that their mishandling the situation will leave them tossed out on their ears and Erotica still in the game with a only slap on the wrist to show for it. All because he ends up looking almost reasonable in comparison.

I think it's wrong to do this **** on people... You can do so much bad stuff in the game and it's great!! But when it gets out of hand and EVE is only a platform for some people to find victims like pedophiles do in chatrooms for kids (holy **** that comparisson!!!) that's just wrong...

I told my brother this story. He doesn't play EVE and he said something interesting: In the earlier days people had jesters to do demeaning stuff for people so that they can laugh. Today some people have online platforms like EVE for this.

i just can't understand how one can find so much joy in putting a human beeing in so much misery... i also know there are people out there who can't handle the game itself. The question is, where is the line really?

Its not international law its Icelandic law. CCP hosted the convention in question providing a forum for the exposure of private communications and the belittlement of the person, both of his in game actions but more importantly his out of game private life. CCP is subject to Icelandic law as an Icelandic based company.
