Apocalypse Navy Issue, Apocalypse, Paladin, EoM Apocalypse
Preference in that order. Needs to have a metallic sheen where appropriate - not matte paint.
While I understand that a kit-set model would be cheaper and more popular, I don't have any inclination to go out and buy paints, brushes, glue and modelling knives for a once-off project (and I suck at painting), so I would personally prefer a more "premium" pre-built, pre-painted model, probably around 30cm / 12inches in length.
As I haven't done any modelling for probably a good 3 decades, I have no idea what materials are used these days. Earlier posts mention resin, resin & PE, poly, and this post describes a lot of things I didn't know, but I don't actually know what they feel like. I'd prefer it to feel reasonably solid, but not heavy enough to get slapped with huge air freight bills (the postage for EVE: Source Limited Edition from PopCultcha cost me about US$22, and that's just across the Tasman Sea).
If it's not practical to provide LEDs or the "Glow reactive plastic" that someone mentioned, for all the windows, perhaps a safe luminescent paint that glows softly for an hour or so after the lights go out would be sufficient?
For the main navigation lights, LEDs/fibre optics might be best, perhaps with a flashing and non-flashing option. Battery-powered would probably be best, but USB-powered would be ok (I wouldn't personally turn it on for more than an hour or two).
For comparison, this model looks a bit cheap. I'd want more than that.
This model of the Firefly seems about right in size and detail, but the price is a bit OUCH! (NZ$500, US$435) No need for removable parts though, as we've never seen the inside of EVE ships.
If it's going to cost more than US$100, I'll think twice about it. It'll have to look astonishing for me to go further.

Preference in that order. Would not expect the radar dish to rotate.

Although the rotating part of the warp ring wouldn't be very practical. Perhaps some blue LEDs or dabs of luminescent paint?

On a side note (and I'm completely unaware of the processes involved), are you able to get potential suppliers to provide mockups that you could demo to us in a video (similar to the EVE Source promo video you just posted), and get opinions on the quality and what people would be willing to pay for it?
