Well done CCP.
The 1.8 Patch has made dust worth playing again.
Now the things you aim at actually get hit by bullets etc.. It no longer feels like a game of randomness where whoever is nearest the server wins.
People do not seem to be dying with no chance of fighting back from low skill players using noob weapons. (Shotgun/HMG.)
Improvements to KB/M aiming really make a huge difference to the game.
I know the next bit might be asking too much but: Please do not break it again in the next update.

Light Basic Frames for Caldari and Amarr are missing skill requirements This will be fixed in a future hotfix
Scout ck.0 and 'Neo' Scout ck.0 have switched skill requirements This will be fixed in a future hotfix
Commando G-I is missing it's low slots
Scout G-I has it's old slot layout
Amarr Scout Dropsuits skill has a 4x multiplier, should be 8x
Dropsuit Core Shield/Armour skills are not applying properly on spawn all the time. It should correct itself after a few seconds.
Pressing T does not open the chat menu. Reports indicated that this has be remapped to J.
Amarr Basic Heavy has old Armour/Shield base values
Light C-I frame first person view shows Gallente light hands, not Caldari
Amarr Assault heat buildup bonus is not applying
Logistics CPU/PG reduction bonus is applying to cloaks
Minmatar Assault still has built in armour repair
Amarr and Caldari Light Basic frames PG/CPU does not increase with tier
Amarr Commandos are incorrectly priced at Advanced and Prototype tiers
Inconsistent pricing for Heavy Basic Prototype frames
Minmatar Scout has 110 melee damage instead of 120

Minmatar Assault bonus to clip size is not applying in some cases
Various Heavy frames (Sentinel, Basic and Commando) have incorrect colour schemes
Amarr and Gallente scout descriptions are reveresed
Commando mk.0 has three high slots instead of two
Amarr Commando has 450 armour, should be 480
Minmatar Basic Heavy Frame has a shield recharge rate of 8.5, should be 20
Multiple reports of shotgun and Ion Pistol damage not registering correctly
Imperial Commando ak.0 has a sidearm slot instead of an additional high.
Forge guns are reported to have issues with firing (no round exits gun on first shot, holding the trigger will fire the second).
Gallente Militia Heavy does not have any base armour repair
A large number of skills do not appear to be applying on spawn, including dropsuit skills, weapon skills and core skills. Extent is unconfirmed and still under investigation

Excuse moi! Shotgun is not a noob weapon. The current favorite noob weapon is a Rail Rifle that can literally kill at 100 + meters. The max range for a shotgun is 8 mts which means the person literally has to get up close and personal with you.
With that said there are a lot of fail scouts running around with cloaks thinking they are actually good. Do not confuse them with the good shotgunners. We grief peeps the right way

Aw come on Soraya. Just because CCP's eff up list is big doesnt mean that the game is not decent. Its actually more fun right now. So much so I am having more fun playing the game that actually working towards derailing your CPM stint.

Aw come on Soraya. Just because CCP's eff up list is big doesnt mean that the game is not decent. Its actually more fun right now. So much so I am having more fun actually playing the game than working towards derailing your CPM stint.

As someone who just logs in and plays Dust occasionally for fun - It seems way better now.

You have no clue how bad he is. Last night he was on my team 2 or 3 times in a row . And these were pub matches and I couldnt even tk him. Against noobs he goes 9/9 and against a Nova Corp team stack he goes 3/6. His bad gun game going with with lolfits. SMH. |

I'm having some fun with it now, but there's a lot still messed up. Today's hotfix crossed a lot of these bugs off the list, and they've started bringing vehicles back down to a reasonable level.

Unless you're now over 1,000,000 SP in the red when they fixed the SP issue.
Or you're a Gallente (armor) suit with no low slots.

Oh hush Soraya... There is a big note when you load up the game talking about the Amarr Scout bug. People should learn to read. And its the Gallente Basic Scout that has the problem. No one should be running that fit unless really desparate.

Imagine all your passive skills not loading until some random time (anywhere from 5-60 seconds) after each gate jump.
Yeah, that would be cool right? |

LOL. Its not game breaking. If you know your skills wont load up dont spawn at droplinks that are not safe.
The skills arent loading! The end is near. Lets all build caves underground and stock up for 2 years.  |

Try spawning with a forge to attack a tank that is murdering your infantry. Enjoy waiting an indeterminate amount of time for your weapon to function properly. At which time the tank has either departed, or you and all your homies are dead.
That match versus WTF where the two FA heavies were not getting their resists before they got killed didn't bother you?
Maybe gamebreaking is taking it a little bit too far. But only a little. It really is a massive problem, that never should have been released into the wild. |

ROFL. Annoying Yes. Game breaking No. I play as a scout. And believe me there is nothing more annoying for a scout to spawn in without his bonuses. Throw a rock at them and they are dead. If you have your shields and armor up;- which you should as a heavy you should spawn in with around 900 EHP. I run a Dren Heavy so I know.
And about the WTF game we had one heavy running Rambo and QQing about getting killed and having bad frame rates. Common sense would have dictated for that heavy to leave the game. But w/e. The other heavy was doing his job. WTF was playing smart and killing the logi repping him everytime. 
You are absolutely right that this piece of crap should be tested before releasing to the wild. But its CCP Dust. For every one thing they do right the mess 4 things up. In the past for every one thing they did right they messed 10 things up. 
We are making progress here dude . The eff ups/content ratio is constantly decreasing ROFL!  |

I agree. When I got the game at launch it was total craop everything was bad now its awesome and the graphics are actually amazing now its so pretty to look at and really fun to play but thats not saying there aren't any bugs its still awesome though |

I immediately uninstalled after starting it up after a 3 month hiatus and playing again for 20 minutes. The skill system has gotten worse of all things, and the UI is still the worst one I can say I've ever had the displeasure of using. Load times are still terrible. Dropsuit stats are not explained anywhere that's easily accessable. The market now has almost 50% aurum, 50% isk. A number of options are missing or impossible to find, like being able to quit your corporation. Still no reason to use more than 1 character slot and gain the passive SP.
In a game that NEEDS to draw more people, the new player experience is still nonexistent. No tutorial or PvE, it's jump into a PvP match and expect decent matchmaking. It's your first match of all things, and you're still getting pitted against people who've played since closed beta and have EVE players funneling isk to them. While they can use and afford 100,000 isk dropsuit fittings throughout the match, new players are stuck with starter fits or get forced to use real money. It's not fun, in fact, it's terrible. EVE at least has a tutorial and epic arc to help through your first time playing the game, and highsec keeps you safe for the most part while you learn the mechanics. |
