p.s. im an alt, blow me.
You mean the small caldari pos that you were too weak to finish off when it came out of reinforced, despite it being a cpu based fitting and not doing any damage AT ALL?
The small caldari pos that is now at 100% shields and you didn't even ATTEMPT to attack, and instead got ganked all night in the areas around v2-?
Tonight we sat in a gang of 70 at peak, and local was topping 210.
That's 2:1. How about you actually be in system before spouting off garbage?
Oh, and about fighting on "terms". Nope, you won't fight on yours - you'll fight on ours. To fight on yours, you have to be the aggressor.
First off I really hope this isn't a Huzzah Federation alt as you know posting will get you booted yeah?
At the time the POS came out of reinforced mode allied forces in system were outnumbered and outgunned so did not attack the BoB POS and its defending fleet. If it was just down to attacking a POS on it's own then your point would be very valid.
Numbers in system varied all night and I was not online when you report that there was 210 in local, however I do know that there are probably afk people on both sides. As for being ganked in V2-VC2 well to be fair I think no one would despute that Huzzah vs BoB would generally favour BoB who is the most experienced and best equipped pvp alliance in the game. Allied pilots give it their best against you and though they might loose more ships when they do kill BoB ships it's like 'Oh wow we got one, cool' as our opponent in V2-VC2 happens to be the best there is. Would you prefer that allied pilots only ever shot at your forces when you engage a Huzzah POS in system and never at any other time?

9 pages, less then 10 different SA posters from over 1000 members. From which a few could be said to be smacky posts most of which were in reply to other smacky posts.
Hardly a forumblob tbh.
Anyone can go back and review where the insults and flames are majoritively stemming from.
Overall we got the standard good forum behaviour from the Fix, Huzzy's and Stainers with the usual alt and bob smacktalk.
Yer can't label an entire alliance from the public chat of a couple of individuals on an open forum. Well, you can try.
But thats just lame propoganda really, or an attempt to continue the amusing read while were all at work.

Complete rubbish Taurequis.
Huzzah and, ofc, Fix seem like a decent bunch on the forums who are just having fun.
There might be the occasional guy who gets a bit excited now and again but generally their forum usage is polite and cheerful regardless of what is going on.
Most importantly however, they are generally pretty truthful when it comes to looking at their own situation.
I'd love to see anyone try and claim the same of SA.
Instead they are happy enough to simply throw random insults at BoB in some vain effort that thier pitiful antics in space will be noticed.

Having PvP'd against Huzzah and SA, in solo, gang and lead fleet I'd rather fight huzzah for honour, but rather kill SA .
The after chat was generally better from Huzzah on local (I know both Fix/Huzzah have no local policies but for a general "good fight", "nice tactics" and a discussion on how the fight went, it was just nice to see). They also didnt log off every 5 mins.
You can tell pilot for pilot they are not quite as accustomed to PvP as SA, as to be expected due to size/history of the alliances, but none the less Huzzah acted with more honour (let alone mentioning they know who their leader is, as it seems SA dont). Oh and when Huzzah leadership give their word, they generally keep it (except for the recent Hans 5 second warning incident ;p). Whereas when one of SA's main fleet commanders (Shivan) said one thing, another high in command (Svetlanna) then contradicted that completely and acted against the other commanders word... reminiscent of the Orc A/Trigger saga.
Every alliance has its bad apples, but when the seed of the tree is rotten, every core grown is tainted Im afraid. ___________________________________ PvP *****. Send me a mail In-game for access to Alumni NRG Recruiting |

Hi Dbp,
I presume the little one liner joke Crucifier made on the second page about being in Bob is like playing eve on ôeasy modeö is the main bulk of what you are referring too....
I did notice you didnÆt take that too well where most other peeps found it funny. But he was kind of saying û ôYou guys rock and make killing peeps look easyö you know. And you guys go all uber defensive to the first SA post mentioning Bob and it goes on from thereà
Now even Crucifier admits later on his replies to your and other Bob insults to him and his alliance after that comment were smacky because he got fecked off. But thatÆs one guy. Just as your one guy. Just as you mentioned the occasional Fix guy or Huzzy guy gets excited from time to time.
I know you don't need/want/require my respect. And yes you do write alot of sense on these forums. But when we contrast posts by peeps like Avernus and Hans to the average Bob posts in here its why my opinion and most likely (notice i stop short of making sweeping generalisations ) the wider non affiliated community see many Bob members as smack-talkers and forum-blobbers.
The point I am getting at is that itÆs hypocritical to go around lecturing or accusing others and their entire alliances of smacking on these forums or using alts to post crap, when the same said person and their own alliance could be said to be guilty of it as well.
Obviously I may be deluded in my vision of a public forum were we can have civil and constructive argument. Exchanging joyous fun banter with no need for personal insults, while posting banners with Hugh Grant and penguins. But hey we live in a semi moderated forum (bless them and their impossible task) where any one on a bad day can start a flamefest. Blighted by a swarm of alts determined to post miss-information and inflammatory remarks.
The best thing to do for all is ignore this stuff. Move on and keep your own moral high ground in regards to the subject.
For who is worse, the smacker, the guy who smacked the smacker or the guy who smacked the smacker who smacked the smacker. (IÆm loving the irony as I write this ).
Anyways we are near thread derailment time. Sincere apologies for butting in.
GF to allà
My humble and best regards,
Taurequis Waylander 01

SELPY TV was on the scene last night in V2, A daring rescue by the SA/HF Fleet at the station to get more pilot's out who were being blockaded back out and into the fight. I was recording stock footage of the fleet when BOB warp's right into frame \o/ how's that for timing. Well footage is now back at the editing studio getting trimmed up, and should be ready for broadcast later tonight.
This is Selpy of Starhunt reporting from the frontlines.
Stay tuned....

Oh come ON, you are the worst forum warrior in the whole of Eve, and with more rude smacktalk than absolutely everybody else.
I'm guessing the reason no-one ever sees you on the frontlines is because you know you would be primary every time, regardless of your ship type.
In fact, I'd lay bets you use an alt to pvp with
Is that really any better than the multitude of things you accuse us of?
I would like to say GF last night in V2 btw, but because of teamspeak spying (i.e. warping a large amount of HACS and inties to a gate the moment we announce it on TS, before we've even warped ourselves) we couldn't get into V2 to have a pop at you.
This isn't smacking, I do actually like fighting you guys, because as said before you're pretty much the most solid pvp alliance in the game. What I am saying is that if you want people to believe that "We put up only a small POS because we want fights" then maybe you should just stick to good old fashioned corp/alliance spying rather than instant-intel spying.
Looking forward to kill/death mails!

Well, the thing is Hans, as much as I understand your position on that one, I just can't respect it. I tend to judge those around me by the standards I judge myself, and with the numbers in local (I simply cannot account for those that are afk I'm afraid), the way our pos is setup, to not even TRY, on home turf, to snipe off a battleship, maybe even aggress a carrier, just to do SOMETHING so that the hostile force (us in this case) can sit there recharging in max cap setups and get it all done and dusted within an hour is, well, I dunno - it's just wrong. What's the harm in trying, ya know?
Originally by: Hans Roaming Would you prefer that allied pilots only ever shot at your forces when you engage a Huzzah POS in system and never at any other time?
Of course not, but everyone has to learn the same way, and that's generally the hard way. I learnt to fight against a numerically and financially superior foe, as have many of those in BoB, it just changes our attitude from "omg we might fail" to "bleh, what the hell, let's do it".
And that attitude most of the time leads us to victory through pretty harsh odds.
Most of your guys have the right mentality, Hans, they just need to step up and put their pods in the crosshairs enough so that they stop shaking from the adrenaline ;)

A couple of reasons stick out for this, but are not the only things we considered:
1 - we wanted to test ewar batteries against a large foe, it would seem that POS don't fire / work properly prior to the next dt for that so despite it being put in reinforced on day 1 we still don't have an answer for that.
2 - we had about 40 of them lieing around from pre-rmr pos sovereignty changes when we had them at every moon in NOL ;)
