Is it just me, or did the Eve server just crash?
Game dropped me right after I warped into a belt (hope it didn't have rats), now I get the 'unable to connect' message.
Everything else seems to work fine, including these forums (which I can prove from the fact that you are reading this  )

yeah everyone just got booted. God DAMNIT I was just sorting out some real important stuff, a friend was telling me what skills to buy an everything to start me off, I was in my hangar, and then... Everything starts lagging, and BOOM blank screen, and then *connection lost* What the hell.

i think it is clear that the servers have crashed
any losses due to this failure will be compensated as always..
i was just warping in at encounter 10 of pirate slaughter 
hope it's up soon and that i'm not in a pod

That veldspar was about to Pop then The server did.
I hope the roid doesn't come back that was one gruelling fight.

maybe ccp has internet problems or something.. or just a powersupply problem.. or just... we don't know, let's just hope it is solved quickly and that no-one has lost his ship!

Hi there,
They crashed out on me during a combat mission, which mean I'm going to be in my pod when I get back in I guess.
Someone earlier in the thread mentioned compensation, how will that work?
The mission I was on has already cost me 3 ships, cause it's bloody hard for a newbie like me!! Anyway, i was actually doing well this time round and managed to wipe out the pirates that were there, I hit the warp button at the deadspace jumpgate, and then it all died.
Anyway, the main question is, how will we be compensated, and do I need to inform them? I've only been in the game for like less than a week, and so far it's been nothing but trouble. I'm enjoying it, but for a MOG that's been running as long as this, it's got terrible service...
that's my rant over, sorry to whinge...

I was chaining a double 1.5 mill bs spawn with 3 cruisers. Hope my apoc survives. :( The forums for me are very very laggy too :(.

I was in the middle of a combat mission. Does anyone know what happens? Will I have lost my ship? And what about mission bonus? Do I lose out on the bonus if the server is down long enough?

Ok, the servers down. You might have lost out on something Be it skills or ships etc...
remember that when it comes back up WAIT before logging in, as theres gonna be 20,000 people trying to log in.
at least an hour or two should be enough.
Otherwise you'll be whinging here that theres lag etc...
Its happened once or twice before and as many of the experienced eve community members will tell you, its simply not worth logging in straight away.
If you did lose something be polite about it, it gives you a better chance of retrieval than screaming and swearing.

I just in the middle of a kill mission, and then the server pops... great going. I hope my shieldtank has held out and my Raven is still in one piece...
