I personally know one female pirate that I know is active. Other than that, I couldn't say. I wouldn't be shocked if there were quite a few female pirates...as far as a female corp, though, I doubt it. Real females, that is. I actually think there's an all female character RP corp, but I highly doubt they're all actually female.

My Fiance was a pirate "Tarja Sangre" and had started a corp "The Scorned" but she quit to play wow! Yet while typing this out and saying it outloud she is saying "Thinking about reinstating her corp"! So maybe you 2 can do something? Mail me!

there is quiet a few pirate girls and pvp'ers, but I havent heared of any female corps.
Btw it can be pretty damn fun, when a potential target realize your a girl , and goes 'omg its a girl' and start sweettalking you in local.
...then U just play along for a while, sweettalk back ... tracking your target, and boom ... strikes 
Ive killed some 'Prince Charming' that way , and they always get surprised by it thehehee

I have done that same thing quite a few times!
Guys realize a girl is in system with them and they switch to their back-up brain... Some friendly chatter in local to keep them busy while I'm zipping around the system scanning them out. I'm putting them at ease right until I warp on top of them for the scramble and pop.
Some guys seem to enjoy losing their ship to a girl... Sick I tell ya!

I just wanted to point out that Drones of Annihilation has several pirate chicks, Trinity Trixx being a fine example. Though she's from Missouri, so there's that.
I'm curious how many women came to the game on their own, and how many started playing because they had boyfriends who were already playing. No offense or anything, but it would be interesting to know.
BTW- I just had a daughter 2 months ago, and she likes to hang out with me when I'm pirating. If some version of EVE is still around in 10 years or so, watch your ass.

Honestly, I enjoy working with the female gender simply because their much much nicer to listen to on TS.

I figure girly pirates are a possibility in Eve. Why not, you know. Equal rights and all that stuff.
Ability wise they probably are no worse or better than the average guy pirate tbh.
The real KICKER though, and guys watch out, EVERY 28 DAYS after they've stuffed their significant others ballz in their purse, they log on Eve and are holy terrors! And that last a few days after which the denisions of their area are thankful, as are their IRL significant others

On a side note: Even though there are females playing EVE, It seems to be alot fewer of them here than in WOW for instance. I personally knew of quite a few that liked to RP in WOW, but not one of them wanted to even try a space game.. Any reason for this??? Many females in EVE are PVPers, while it seems females in WOW tend toward RPing more..

Stereotypes everywhere you look. Television, Education, your parents and and and...
That's why most children grow up adepting these stereotypes although that should be outdated meanwhile. Other reasons may also be responsible for that but that is one of the major I can think of. It's stupid but girls are not supposed to play with space crafts... luckily not all parents do fit to that stereotype.

It occurs to me that many might get annoyed at always being impressed into leadership roles, and thus avoid VoiP and subsequently, long term EVE presence.
I mean, "Go, my doomed worker drones, and enact the bidding of thy Queen" might be fun a couple times, but it would get as tiring as any other leadership responsibility after awhile, if not moreso.

Frittata
Want to have some friends over for a Sunday brunch after a great night of partying. This brunch omelet is hearty, filling, delicious and quite easy to make. You can really fill it with whatever ingredients you fancy. Here is a great combination. Tomato, onion, avocado, green onions and cheddar
4 eggs minimum
I tomato ) (diced)
+ to 1 whole avocado
+ cup of diced white or Spanish onion
1 bunch of green onions cut into small pieces
Grated cheddar ( + cup)
Salt and pepper
Mix your eggs well in a bowl- Season with salt and pepper. A good trick is to add just a little milk to your eggs (gives it a great taste).
In a pan- add a little butter so that the frittata does not stick when you dishing it out. Add your onions and sautT until soft, Add your diced tomatoes and when you see that they are also softening add your eggs. Keep the heat at a medium temperature so that it is hot enough for the eggs to set.
When you see that the top portion of the frittata is starting to cook well- this is the time to add your avocado and your cheddar. Be careful- you want to wait until the eggs are almost fully cooked to do this because you do not want the avocado to cook- only to warm up.
When you see that the cheese is melting you know the Frittata is cooked.
The beauty of a brunch frittata is that it is served open face- so you won't have to agonize over it breaking while rolling it into a perfect omelet shape.
P.S A great vegetable to use is potatoes by cutting them sliver thin and add them before pouring the eggs. Make sure that the potatoes are cooked when ready to pour the eggs to cook your brunch frittata.

a good splash or two Kahulua or coffee liqueur
2 x 250g/9oz tubs mascarpone cheese
200ml/7fl oz strong coffee or espresso, cold
14 boudoir biscuits or sponge finger biscuits
25g/1oz plain chocolate, finely grated
cocoa powder
Using an electric whisk beat the egg yolks and caster sugar together until pale and thick. Add the mascarpone and whisk slowly until the mixture is pale and smooth. Add 1 tbsp of the coffee liqueur and whisk gently.
In a separate bowl, mix the coffee and remaining coffee liqueur.
Dip half of the boudoir biscuits into the coffee mixture place in the bottom of 4 glass coffee cups or small bowls. (Alternatively, place in a single glass bowl to make one large Tiramisu).
Spoon over half the mascarpone mix and sprinkle with half the chocolate. Repeat with another layer of biscuits, mascarpone and chocolate. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours and dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Err... that depends what you understand by the term "better". Statistics say women cause less accidents because women usually drive with more care and do not get as agressive towards other drives as men do. Those statistics don't say who can handle the car better in a critical situation which very much depends on the person itself.

I'm also an ACTUAL REAL female player of Eve, unfortunately it's a shame that people assume instantly that you're male and refer to you as a "he" until you correct them.
Another thing that narked me off was reading in E-On, an article on advertising in Eve and there was a line in it that went along the lines of "males of a certain age" referring to all players of Eve as a whole. Ok, I know the MAJORITY are probably male, but it still got me miffed as the person writing the article had no regard for the female contingent.
Rant over, I want to be a pirate. I've been playing for a year and a half and have only just this week discovered the thrill of PvP. I created this character 4 days ago and I rat in 0.4 in a Kestrel, killing ships MUCH larger and stronger than my own - much to my joy, even netting a 11million+ ISK Beta Expanded Cargo Hull Mod wotsit, making my ship losses much more bearable.
Once I get my skills up, I'm going to start getting naughty. ^_^

So far every single female toon I've met in EvE was a guy. I think EvE is the king when it comes to males behind the PC of a female toon, makes me sick some times.

Dare I guess that maybe 90% of the EVE male population actually know how to act around a girl and 35% of the 90% really do not care if you are one.
Other then that I can not say I have been treated diffrently in my corp either. TC is an awesome corp and I love each and every one of them. They rock

the only way an all female corp could run is with teamspeak checking even then not foolproof but could tell if someone in RL is a guy or gal - regardless respect should be shown to everyone and anything else well u can just block em
Oh dont give out RL information kinds of can lead to issues from other threads ive read. Give some basic info and thats it and throw in some disinformation

I am a guy, my main is a guy character, but I made Itoshii Daishou for mission running and ratting, and yes I intended to make her very pretty. She's a character in my book, she's an admiral and she's supposed to be pretty.
Too bad right now she's as ugly as an exclamation point.

Shepherd's Pie Recipe
This is a tasty shepherd's pie made with ground beef, mashed potatoes, and seasonings. Scroll down for more Shepherd's Pie Recipes, including several using leftover beef.
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
2 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs, separated
6 tablespoons butter
8 potatoes, peeled, boiled, and mashed
1 cup finely chopped onion

beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Parmesan cheese
Brown ground beef and sautT onions in 2 tablespoons butter until golden. Mix ground beef with onions, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Put meat mixture into a casserole then top with potato mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake at 350Ś until potato topping is puffed and browned, about 25 to 35 minutes.

Here is a great Meatloaf Recipe
1 lb of ground beef
1 egg
3 TB Worstershire sauce
1/2 cup bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup of onion chopped
Add ingredients together. Then top with more ketchup (I usually put a heart shape on top of my meatloaf). Put in a oven safe baking dish. Bake for 45 mins at 375 F.

Most of the females I know in EVE loves the PVP part of the game more than anything, so saying most females enjoy the carebear side might not be all that accurate Ginger.

I've played many MMORPG's, and have played avatars of both genders.
I have to say that playing a female avatar has always garnered significant in-game benefits - if you can deal with the ever present innuendo and never-ending (pathetic) "flirt" chat that constantly floods your chat channel.
In some games, the un-solicited chat is simply too annoying/abundant to tolerate (EQ/WOW), and in others (EVE) it's not too bad at all.
I'd honestly be surprised at how many females play male characters now and then to avoid the nuissance chat/stigma.
