I'm just curious to which entities in 0.0 don't have a NBSI policy? I know NBSI is the norm, but there are some exceptions, like the Big Blue Alliance and the ISS. Any others out there? |

NFC, D2, etc. do not shoot neutrals in Pure Blind, and Fade is open to neutrals at times, depending on how much people want to abuse it. At the moment, though, I believe Fade is NBSI as well, since it has been abused, but don't quote me on that.

Prime Orbital Systems does not use an NBSI policy.
However, once contact has been established, the reasons for your presence will be questioned and if the answer does not merit travel in the area, you will be asked to leave immediately. Failure to compy results in a KOS.

I'm not sure, that was probably E-R and they are nubbins...
also another posibility is that when in hostile areas we use NBSI, not really sure as mostly just been involved with those we're activly hostile against up north though I know I have allowed neutrals in tribute to continue on by without trying to kill them --------------- RIP - Smoske, My Friend

To the BoB member above - That is probably because your alliance has ****ed a lot of people off
The CVA operates an open skies policy. All neutrals are safe to go about their business as long as they respect our no-piracy rules in our areas of operation.
However we do also have an extensive KOS list of coporations and alliances that have abused our hospitality in the past by attacking either CVA or neutrals in our area. The KOS list includes BoB, Shinra, Burn Eden, RAT, X13, The Priory, TSBS and many many others...
I would advise anyone who wishes to visit or live peacefully in CVA space to contact a CVA representative to clarify your status and to ensure that you are not on our KOS list due to past indiscretions of your colleagues.

CVA space is not 0.0 - it is an extension of the Amarrian Empire - and if we say it's piracy then that's what it is

Not at all; I moved out to 0.0 a couple months ago and have been happily soloing since. The alliance map posted in the sticky at the top of this forum is a map of what alliances claim, not what they actually control. If you're mindful of who claims what, what systems they actually populate, and how aggressive they are in enforcing their claims, you can find plenty of space in 0.0 to live in.
I'd say at least a quarter of 0.0 space is reasonably useable solo, as long as you stay on the ball. Much more than a quarter in terms of number of systems, but a lot of systems require excessive travel through chokepoint systems to reach and probably aren't worth the trouble.
Keep in mind that you need to be able to function on your own (solo 0.0 rats, move ships to/from your location, etc), so there is some minimum of skills. My personal opinion is, be well skilled for cruisers or AF/interceptors. Having an alt to haul, and the patience to not rush into hot systems with a hauler, helps a lot as well.

Of course noob corps are always fair game anywhere.
But you do operate an NBSI policy in the south.
