3 ECM jammers = BS lockdown
We usually run around with 6 to 10 frigates (2 ecm on each). So we could prolly jam 2, maybe 3 with our setup - if we knew exactly wot we were doing (i.e who jams who). Most of the time we go looking for a fight. We won't sit and organize our attack for ages... if we see some1 we just go for it.
Jamming is essential for us, speed is just an added bonus.
Hmm... So you never lock down a BS then? If you need 3 to lock a BS down and you carry 2 on each frigate and ecm jammers from different ships don't stack (unless they changed it) then you wont lock down a BS, ever.
But then... if you had an ecm frigate or two that could carry three ecms you could do it. Also webifiers, double strength warp jammers, weapons disruptors and energey drainers.
Have your ecm ships hang back and lock the sensors down on a BS or two. Everyone else gets in close and uses the webifiers and warp scramblers. The energy drainers will eventually take out the shield generators and hardners. Weapons disruptors are a backup for the ecm. If they punch though the ecm and you get in close their heavy weapons wont be able to track you at that range. Stay close and fast like under 5k and user short range frigate weapons.
The counter to this would be drones and fof missiles. Heavy drones will tear up frigates as would heavy fof missiles.
It would work agaisnt battleships but not the way you posted it.

ECM Jammers between different ships have stacked for at least the last two months. I wouldn't know before then as that's when I started using them like this.

Then it should work nicely. Maybe its just the sensor dampners that don't stack from different ships.
So what are the frigates of choice for a frigate wolf pack ?

We dont jam with frigs - we always take BB's for that. We attack with frigates, jam with BB's and for heavy engagement use Caracals as torp boats.
Torps take out drones very nicely indeed, and the caracals cover the frigs from distance. It works wonderfully.
BS pilots always find it difficult to believe that their beloved ship is, actually, very easy to kill if you know what you're doing. -------------------------------------------- Dead
