I have decided that I am going to be putting these together on a monthly basis. Hopefully, I can get some help from Ben to help get it going  Rather than making a new thread each time, I will be editing and bumping this one, so it will be easy to locate.

I will be attending and will reprsent Shinra. I sincerely hope that as many members of eve attend as possible. It would be nice to meet some of our adversaries who we have struggled against for the past few years... and friends of course... anyone who chewed the same space as the rest of us.

I've checked with the missus... and we should be able to finagle our travel arrangements so that I can attend. Sadly I will not be drinking as afterwards I still have 4 hours of driving on I95N.
A few key points:
The 22nd is her Birthday, so feel free to wish her a happy birthday. She's also convinced about two things that I hope you can dispel. She believes that all Eve players are nerds, consider her current example!, and that Eve players can't do anything else but talk about Eve. (Again - think of her example).
So please leave your pocket protectors at home (I have to bring mine though) and don't forget to ask about the weather in between the tales of carebear derring does.

We are looking at doing something in Philly for August. I have been talking to a couple of people who live down there. Depends on how many people we can get together.

I was talking to Skyshaper and Dave and Busters was brought up. I haven't seen a thread for it but should start one. Depending on how many people we could prob get something setup with Dave and Busters, at least a couple of tables or something like that. Also those of us with kids could bring them and let them run wild.

First off I would like to thank the group from last month for sticking around a little while longer to school the new guy in the ways of the Eve universe. Especially the LV guys for giving this Big Blue care bear a lesson in Eve politics.
As mentioned another meeting place could be Atlantic City, as this is generally only a hour from Philly, and 2 from NYC. As well as offering other forms of entertainment........
Speaking of D&B, they just opened one in Times Square, which might be a good place in the future as you can get all ages in there and still toss back a couple.
Won't be able to make the June meetup, and fighting to secure the July one. Unfortunetly the wife feels the need to schedule weddings on the weekends, what is she thinking.....

Atlantic City might be a possibility, but I am not sure that people want anything too intimate right now
As it says in the initial post; we just get together, drink beer, and talk eve :) As for D&B in Times Square ... I can't speak for the other New Yorkers, but I would prefer to avoid it like the plague or any tourist trap centrals for that matter.

Sup guys! long time no see. I will do my best to be there on sunday. the g/f and I were planning on having a bbq on sunday but the damn super blocked up our door to the roof of the apt cause they think its causing a leak (they want to turn it into a window...BA$TARD$!!!) so we might not be having it...
but if i come, i'll be in the mini (mini cooper S..fyi ben...) and i think i might have to play with the other one coming FDR = best.highway.ever.

I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm not sure if I can get there this weekend, I have to take a friend out for his birthday this weekend. So my arrival on Sunday will depend on the Saturday weather. If it's rainy and miserable on Sat I'll have to push off the golf to Sunday and thus won't be able to make it. Otherwise I'll do my best. I know, you were looking for a yes or a no, but at least I replied. :-)

BTW I have to proclaim my shock and amazement at how DJ was able to go through those buffalo wings so quickly and thoroughly. I'm sorting out a hotel this weekend. Might go for something close by for easy staggering back to after lots of beer but also close to a subway station for my other excursions.

The problem with later in the month is Jewish Holidays and that will roll us into early October. I'd rather get us back on track for the middle of the month again. Even if it's another small outing (which they typically are).

I've been wanting to get out to one of these, but Sundays during football season at 1 PM is no good for me (and any other non fair-weather pro football fan). The Giants play at 1 PM that Sunday, and even if they were 4 PM it's a 2 hour drive back to my house so I'd only be able to be there for an hour. Any chance you'll be having Saturday get-togethers in the future?

I could shoot this one for a Saturday and see how it goes. My problem is that not enough people communicate here to warrant me to change this up otherwise and to switch to accomodate a single person is rough. You do make a valid point in regards to Football on Sunday though (I can't be arsed about it, but that's just me). Another issue that I tend to have is that the people who request the switch tend not to show, which further adds to my aggrivation as you can probably understand.
Tell you what - I will switch this to October 14th for this next one and see how that goes.

if anyone's game i got a hookah bar i go to. could be 18 and over and they do have drinks - selection of bottled beer and some wine only. no reservation required
another hookah bar i go to, better than the first has full bar and everything - if we go in the evening they break out some fine looking belly dancers at 10:30pm also 18 and over but we would need a reservation

Sorry for the delay, but I will be discontinuing this as I will not be living in the area any longer. I have too much to do in the interim to make a go at this one last time. I have however passed all the information on to someone else who has agreed to start doing this on a regular basis.
I am hoping that he can get something setup for April, so that I may make it out one last time before I leave.

The only thing we really need is a place that has food and beer to meet right? Whats stopping us form meeting at a pub or something in the city? Hell, If I could fit you people at my house in Jersey I would (my couch only fits 6 ;( )!
What about the Dave and Busters in the palisades mall? Maybe a hike for those in the city (its in rockland county right off the palisades parkway, gwb -> palisades) so I dunno, but anyone else wanna pick up this meeting or Xod can you school us who havent been to one on where they have been in the past and stuff?
