Even though I am logged into the forum. Also the notification to the left of my portrait never updates when new posts are made to threads I subscribe to. One more issue is there is no more 'like' button. Anyone else having the same issues?

No captcha for me and I know that there was no captcha ever on this site. Here's what you can check: - Are you sure that you are using the correct URL to connect to EVE forums? (maybe you have some phished bookmark or something) - Are your or your ISP's DNS settings correct. Maybe your DNS table is hacked and re-routed to a phishing one. You can check that by trying to access the forum directly by IP address: 87.237.39.162 (I know... it's not ideal check but might help anyway). If everything works by accessing the IP address directly, the DNS table might be borked. - If everything still looks ok, I suggest sending a petition. Forum devs or CCP's security division might be able to help. And yeah... I highly recommend changing your password right after you resolve the problem.

Thanks! A bit more information that might help. For some reason, the two alts I have on this account work perfectly as far as the forum goes. The like buttons on the posts show up. All the forum settings are identical for each character too.

Basically you end up completing the captcha for other sites on behalf of bots that can't do it. Ideas and stuff EVE - the game of sand castles, either building them or kicking them down.

Google chrome has a free browser is an awesome tool, I frankly would like to use it all the time but it has a lot of small issues. Most of them are small programmer/dev preferences, you have a lot fo peeps coming from different horizons improving this free data base, you can expect people not wise respecting the rules to get some profit of it, this is why I will never use it, I will never trust guys claiming freedom for all because they're the first ones to profit from it if that gives them the power. The base is good, but I'd better pay for something "respecting" closely the rules than something no one knows where it comes from or who really did it. Am I wrong? probably, the fact is that there are too many issues because of the simple fact free stuff for all means there are too many people with no moral. - if you ever think it's not the case then you're completely naif

This does sound a little farfetched, though. 2) Your account was at one time hijacked and used for spamming these forums (perhaps during the few months after Unholy Rage, where thousands of hijacked accounts were used to spam "Click this keylogger link to see my UI" and "Pornographic topic which is totally not a keylogger". If this happened, then CCP might have placed a captcha on your account to prevent it from spamming. 3) CCP, for some reason, doesn't like you. 4) Perhaps it's an account age related thing?

They highjack my cell phone too? It just make sense. Still, could someone from the CCP web team look at that picture and tell me if they recognize that at all? Some weird arcane script that CCP doesn't even know about. Things like that have happened to me more than once on more than one forum over the years. Can be a total pain in the ass to troubleshoot.
