I'm not surprised really. I know of a girl who not only smoked during pregnancy, but took Crakc, Cocain, Speed, Pills, Weed etc etc
I met her in a club, she was 8 month pregnant and had a pint in her hand (one of many), and noone said a thing. Her friends had 'given up' trying to talk sence into her. I wanted to punch her in the face.
Hell it was her boyfriend's dad who taught her how to smoke crakc when he knew she was pregrant. The boyfriend also has several kid's all over the place that he never see's and now she's had the baby he's never around. Yet she still wants to 'stick by her man'.

The goverment need to do something about the root of the problem: Chavs. They pull down the whole society of Britain and only heighten the outdated class structure. Something needs to be done to break the cycle and encourage these people to stop breeding at such massive rates.

Welcome to the modern world, bet the boy end¦s up on the sex offenders list as well, i used to live in newcastle and if everyone thinks its the boys fault they would be wrong, im late 20¦s and i used to get approched all the time by chavs who wanted me to buy the****s and drink and when i turned them down, they would offer themselves as payment and this was from girls as young as nine, hence the reason i moved. Newcastle a scary place.

Not what... 100 years ago, you were considered 'adult' and ready to take full responsibilty of your life in many 'civilized' countries at the age of 15-16. Today, we're considered 'kids' well into our 20s.
I feel sorry for the baby, in the sense that it will be a tough upbringing due to the current morale climate around it. Giving birth to a child at that age, is wrong because it's against the law (the act proceding it, rather). The morale of it, well... history as we see it (and refer to as our 'ancient past'), really wasn't that long ago.
There's no hardcoded switch inside us flicking on/off saying 'that's immoral!', it's based on the current climate. Nor is it something our societies have "outgrown", the laws are a trend that we have gone back and forth on for a long while.
It's a sad state of affairs for the baby, due to how (obviously even from this thread), the family will be treated as he/she grows up - by those around them.
Condemn it based on the law, not flimsy morale grounds that would've resulted in your own non-existence, had your very own bloodline and ancestors followed it as you do.
Personally, I don't even mind this. Two 'kids' reproduced, when I know probably a thousand kids died the very same day. I'd rather reserve my outrage for the ones dying, not the ones seeking fun and in this case - bringing forth new life.
But hey, that's me, I guess.
