I know Beer and Kebabs from my time pirating in Heimatar and Metropolis, they generally know what they're doing - sounds just like a brainfart to me tbh. Props to Aeaus for going at him though  .
Regardless, this is a moot issue, and is only gonna continue to draw smackers that are anti-sniping and the like.

Tech 1 named tachs so...
Lows 5 tracking enhancers T2 (4 was not enough), 2 heat sinks T2 (DAMAGE) and one PDU T2 to fit extra tach (Damage again..)
Mids 3 sensor boosters T2 self explanatory  If you are going to lock small ships or any ship and kill it befor it gets to the gate or gets away you must lock it
T2 tachs well the range bonus helps but ! I'm not T2 skilled and its empire lowsec out of sentry range, so all you people shhhh ...

Right, what annoys me here is people saying players that camp gates or snipe at gates are not pirates!?
What is a pirate?
Someone who goes against the law, kills, murders for profit. Why does it matter if the Pirate is sniping? What written law said "If you snipe your lame".
Gate camps can make great money hitting that hauler who just picked up a ton of TECHII Gear to beef up the corp hanger etc etc

/signed ...ccp made it so attacking at gates is one of the few ways to perform the role 'pirate' and catch / kill people.
Maybe cpp should make a skill so I can warp after a ship / catch up with him and suck him out of warp before his desination. Now that would be fun.... and also allow fair 1 vs 1 fights in 'nowhere' space.

Its not about being Fair. Wheres your support? Your defence? If your hauling expensive stuff you should using one of the new transports which have good resists?
We have to live life as an outlaw. be attacked anytime any place and by anyone and cant enter 0.5+
You use whats in the game to help you haul safe/quick and we use whats in game to kill/ get isk/loot

I could have jumped in close to you and drained your cap in a sec. But i decided to try and kill you from long range with the 1400mm's first, but the tracking is nerfed as we all know. when i was about to jump in close both where gone. Yah its so nerfed I mean gawd a BS sized gun should be able to hit a target with 25sig rad every time but the tracking makes it impossbl at 100km!!!1

This could have been an interesting story about a solo inty trumping a gate sniper setup (not earth shattering but an entertaining read nonetheless), but somehow it morphed into an ugly rant about LT, 'bad pirates' and stabs. IMO, ragging out a player on the forums is not classy, especially after a) he gave you props in local for defeating his setup and b) the kill got away due to your piloting mistake and not stabs.
Congrats on the almost-kill, but zero coolness factor for how you've handled yourself.

True PvPers don't come on the forum showing off something they didn't kill... If you killed him thats a different story! Also he has no stab!! Plus so everyone knows... you don't really need stabs if u know u don't need it.
