I doubt the crash has anything to do with the server being overloaded.
As there's very little lag in the game, I'd say the servers can easily handle another 10k-20k people.

I just hope my Domi doesn't die again because of something like this, since I was just engaging in combat in a mission, so if it doesn't autowarp immediately...  Not to mention my precious heavy drones.

Also noticed something wierd before it crashed... just happened to be checking on my POS fuel supplies and noticed one was down to 18 hours in robotics and I didn't get any "Low Fuel" mail to go along with that.... should have been 6 of them low fuel messages in my inbox .... just strange is all ; \

server down means rats are down too...
and as soon as the server is up again your ship automatically warps to a safespot untill you log back onto the game.
