it takes what ? 30 secs to make a forum post, now a
"ok guys this is what happened and this is what we are doing or trying to do" would be nice =) just to know if we can expect more trouble. sitting in the darkness is never fun, and of course no one is gonna quit for this dont fool yourself's, when the servers get back up everything thats been said in this thread is going to be forgotten until the next crash

 Why the panic?? Jetcans last 2 HOURS (exactly).....just pray that you can get back to them within that time tho

There is an easy way to save EVE from crashing. Redundant server. If one goes down, you still have the backup

Established: the server hates 1) jet cans full of ore, 2) carefully prepared gate camps, 3) roleplay. It crashes whenever one of any is in a critical and/or interesting stage.

You know, I'm not one of those who stay connected for 24 hours long. I have only limited time to play EVE and I pay the entire bill without a protest.
When I play I always get the normal downtime, it's ok, they work for us, no problem.
BUT in THIS case I think this is not right: I pay for 30 days of playing, almost 2 are wasted in normal downtime and actually maybe I'll loose 2 other days for these extended downtimes.
This is a game for which you PAY the TIME and such kinds of downtimes make you LOOSE MONEY.
I'll think this when I'll have to pay again for the next bill, sure.
Nice E-3 time advertisement.

Some people never learn from their mistakes.
It's all been said before, but for the umpteenth time your deployment process needs work as it does not deliver an acceptable of service to the paying customer.

ok they are trying it again 444 seconds.....must have gotten jumper cables connected to one of ccp's corporate ferrari's, just remember to leave it out of gear when you hit the switch.
