Attempting to get gain more Powergrid for my Maller so that I can fit on a full compliment of medium lasers along with a missile turret. As things stand now I don't even have enough powergrid to put on all the guns much less the turret and this is with an empty space in medium and low slots. Besides Engineering and Advanced Weapons Upgrades what can I train to gain more powergrid?

Are you using any mods to increase your grid?
Such as Micro Auxiliary Power Core, or Power Diagnostic System, or Reactor Control Unit?
Look into those or similar mods and train skills accordingly. You will definitely get significant increases in some cases, however you may not get enough to fit everything still.

Engineering gives you 5% extra PG per level.
Reactor controls also are a module that fits in the low slot of a ship to increase PG.

You also might want to try using named modules that use less PG.

Yeah, I can't find many, or even any instances of where there are named modules that require less grid than their tech one counterparts. Although you are right that named modules need less grid than tech two modules.
I don't think there are implants that would reduce the grid requirements of weapons or increase your grid. ___________________

by the way, i'd like to add, maller doesnt have any launcher hardpoints. i wouldnt mind having one or two launcehrs on a maller, only having to worry about missiles...
