Why isent there a warning on the HUD that I am getting warp scrambled? Why not a little blinking icon or something.

the only things u get are a fain blue pulsing beam between u and the scrambler and a message fly past telling u ure scrambled.
now if the faint blue beam was as easy to see as a nos it would be great for pve.
but in pvp effects tend to be turned off to avoid lag. one idea posted a while back was to colour the speed bar depending on if your scramed or webbed
on a similar subject it would be nice to allow interdictor probes to be clickable so you can check your range from them. really helps when working out which way to fly and when to try warping

well dude, think about fleet fight, u`l remove the Turret Effect once, and then all the effects, so your FPS increase ... in that case u cant look to see if your scrambled or not , so a Scrambling Indicator would be nice, like a button , or a swift blink of the capacitor constantly when u are scrambled, something that will let you know that u cant warp out, and that considering you have 2 wcs and they scramble you for only 2 points , the blinking will not apear cause u can warp, only when u cant warp the blinking/button should appear.

I agree with Maya Rkell. All effects should have icons. Almost every game out there has this. Any way to get a dev comment on this?
Sorry but I really think this is a feature that must be implemented.

Not really needed. All it would add to the game is Interceptor pilots MWDing out at the first sign they're actually in some PvP danger. What would it do for anyone else?

ought to have icons in the corner saying if youre target painted, scrammed, jammed, webbed, tracking disrupted, sensor dampened, or whatever other status effects can happen to your ship(poison, blind, faint, etc)
the current indicators are not obvious enough and in the middle of a fight you might not notice it until it is too late. --------- Sig removed BEFORE the mods got to it bahaha -mazzilliu But we can play with it after. ~kieron that should be considered an exploit >[ -mazzilliu Exploit, what explot - Xorus |

An extension to this:
Perhaps we can see a section of our HUD where we see "Failed Jamming" and "Successful Jamming", and when we mouse-over an entry, we get more specific details; the total warp scramble strength being inflicted upon our ship, the overall target-jamming chance that is applied, etc.

We need icons that can appear along some part of the screen (ideally customizable) which tell us what's going on with things like that. Off the top of my head: ECM Interference, ECM Jammed, Warp Scrambling Interference, Warp Drive Offline, Targeting Alert (for when you can't see them on overview), Attack Alert (same as before), Ship Exiting Warp Alert (triggers when a new ship comes into the overview - in case you can't see 'em).
Accompanying all of these should be appropriate (configurable if possible) sounds.

Great Idea I also like the idea that when you are trying to scramble a target you could possibly get an indicator telling you whether or not he is scrambled.

Yeah, this is good thinking. Ideally, I'd like an indication of redundant effects. One target painter gets a little blue icon, another painter on you turns it green, then yellow, then orange, and five or more TP modules acting on your ship gives you a red icon. It's nice to know just how badly you're getting screwed.
