a united deklein would surely be in our interest as the next "roadtrip" will come someday. i just dont see, how it can be achieved with the umbrella alliance not workable.

fla might want to clarify their relation with d2 as their friends act hostile in d2 territory. not good for a friendly relationship.
Well, last time I was passing through D2 area to get to VFK, I was attacked, unprovoked, by a D2 member passing by. I didn't even lock him, merely tried to get away.
I can understand D2 members shooting at me in your region. We've been set to at least neutral (there's been word that actual standings with FLA are set at -10, but what the hell). But if you shoot at us and our friends, don't be surprised when they shoot back, be it in your region or not.
I'd like to encourage our leadership and D2 leadership contact each other and sort this out before more accidents like this happen.

I would like to clarify a few things as a senate member and I feel doing so on the board here as suggested a few times certainly reduces the chance of duplicity if comments are viewed by the community at large. Reputation should be a governing factor in everything you do. (personal opinion)
I would first like to state that the NFC elected its leader(s) diplomatically from the choices presented to us. We of the senate voted for the current incarnation of our leadership and we will support our diplomatic choice until such a time that the process is repeated - such is the diplomatic model.
Secondly I would like to address the diplomatic peace process from an objective view.
The proposal from the NFC to the FLA of withdraw from Deklien and re-negotiate your return was flatly refused.
We have heard from the FLA that they wish to create a free and open Deklien, with a thriving market and civil war a distant memory.
Having faith in the statement made, I would ask one of the FLA commanders to post what the FLA would consider to be appropriate peace terms (obviously prior to any negotiation)
It is my feeling that an open posting of terms would at least create a firm starting point for discussion and would allow the community to view how reasonable/unreasonable both sides really are.
We are told the FLA run on a dipomatic model where all members have a voice and the NFC is based on the Diplomatic model also and therefore I see no reason why initial peace terms on both sides would be a problem to release. It has all been discussed last night at the meeting with Rayven. I would therefore assume all the NFC leaders who need to know, know.

Actually, I want whats best for FLA.
And from your point of view a stable Dek that is working together with mutual standings/docking rights is far better than a Dek split in 3 with an uneasy peace between people afraid to turn their backs for one minute.
Typical Caldari, jumping to conclusions...

Actually...my own opinion, not D¦ or Corps: I don't like the thought of having BE and "stuff" with docking rights in DEK...and these "stuff" is shooting in PB e.g. at will, as i already noticed w. an alt. So maybe we'll get a stabilized DEK but a quite unstable area around. Can't be in our interest. --

as far as i know i was the only one in d2 doing internal lobby work for the fla cause. fla was set to -10 because of the people you brought to the area. if hostiles remain based in your deklein stations i dont see any peace coming.

MacDuncan makes an interesting point...
If NFC were to agree to your terms and let you keep hold of 3JN (which I know you fought hard for) for however long you stated; would BE and the rest of those malefactors you hang around with be granted docking rights? I can't see that a workable peace deal could happen if they are still in Deklein. To you BE (& co): Would you be willing to withdraw completely from Dek if a ceasefire was introduced?
Personally (as always) I can see this being the only real sticking point. Thoughts? concerns? flames?

We have told all this to Rayven last night at the meeting. Don't you guys talk to eachother?
If FLA and NFC start being friends again, BE + Alektrophobia will leave Dek and indeed the whole North. We do not request docking rights nor do we have any need for them. So no, we will not have docking rights in 3JN.
Furthermore, Alektrophobia (not BE) have offer that in the future, should any entitiy (for example ERA) try to take Deklein, if FLA are still in control of 3JN then Alektrophobia will come to assist in the battle for the region on the side of FLA/NFC - a rather generous offer if you ask me. This would not include pirates/mercs attacking you, but rather full blown invasions.
So not only will BE/alektrophobia be gone, all of DEK will be at peace, they will all be friends, and should they be attacked, Alektrophobia will help defend the region. Seems like a pretty good offer to me.

What reason would we have to stay if FLA were left in peace?
We came to help them in their hour of need, we have no intention of staying anywhere on any campaign once we are satisfied that the job we went to do has been completed and that the situation wont resume once we have gone.
Needless to say that doesn't mean we might not stay or come back for another reason as and when we wish.

This is not a sticking point. We have stated numerous times, that YES we will leave the North if a peace deal has occured. We would also not have docking rights either. We have made this point clear numerous times to NFC leaders, who tbh I feel are dragging their heels here.

Believe me we are trying. The NFC seem totally incapable of making any decisions. People claim to be in command, but have no authority to do anything. Out of all of this, the fact that no clear leadership structure exists within NFC is the most shocking part. We have came to NFC with a clear and fair proposal that everyone should benefit from, yet it drags on.......

President: Avril Dewar Vice President: Rayven Darkwolf Vice President: Flying Condor
These three are the only people empowered to conduct negotiations.

There wouldn't be a fleet in 3jn right now if you hadn't been attacking our pos's in the system.
I have attempted to reach an agreement to settle this once and for all. I spoke with rayven offering a 24 hr ceacefire while negotiations are had he did not have the ability or power to set the wheel turning i then added that we would not run active squads into your space and asked he did the same,..... I am now informed that there is indeed a fleet of NFC in 3jn right now my only raction to this is contact me ASAP to get the ball rolling or i will run an active squad to begin the removal of NFC this weekend once and for all.
if an agreement has not been made today I will not enter into any further talks.
The Agreement that FLA would accept is as follows
1- 3jn remains under the control of FLA as there home (the same as sparta alliance has a station)
2- The FLA-NFC will work together to stablise the area from agressing corps/alliances.
3- Alek and Burn eden will remove there selves from the area effective immed of the peace deal being completed.
4- After a 3 month period there will be a meeting with FLA and NFC over the future of 3jn with a possable handover if it benifits both alliances.
5 - My forces will return to the area only if a The fighting re occurs or if your region is attacked via an outside force as to where i will commit both my capital ship fleet and Active pilots to the defence of your region if under severe attack.
It is a simple at that there is not other terms or demands being made i suggest that NFC do one thing and that is contact me ingame ASAP as i am away this weekend and will not be avil till monday you have 2 hrs and counting .

Wow..... That seems completely and utterly reasonable.....
NFC you guys seem to be hung up on "losing" 3jn.... you've already lost it... plain and simple, you don't have it anymore... and if FLA wants it, and thats all you really need to do to introduce peace to the region, DO IT..... FFS its just a station and its not like your carebears wouldn't have docking rights there....
3JN does not = Dek, plain and simple you give up 3JN, you get to keep JU and VFK, and Sparta gets to keep CZD.... and Everyone can stop throwing away their ships and not be able to recoup losses due to disruption from very effective strike forces such as Burn Eden and Alektrophobia.
Let go of Ego, let go of overblown pride, and FFS get this over with.... there are other fish to fry.... VOID, ERA, and OSS anyone?

Very true, any 'loss of face' associated with having to let FLA control 3JN temporarily is going to be far outweighed by the losses that you would likely incur from continuing this conflict.

What i find funny is that it seems most of the people responsible for starting this war have disappeared. AUS Corp itself is on its 4th leader since the break from IRON.
