Could anyone give me a brief list of who passes for trusted third parties nowadays. Obviously I am not looking for something in the Chribba, Darkness, Grendel league. Thanks!

I know Taram Caldar had a stab at this task a while back but not seen him plugging it recently. Tigerras tried to break into third party services but got something of a pessemistic reception and again, not seen much of in the last few months. (disclaimer:* I vouch for none of these people, I've had minor financial dealings with one of them)* Part of the problem of course being that expressing a desire to become a third party would typically be seen as a danger sign and eliminate one from becoming so. There's a Gore Vidal quote along the lines of "Anyone prepared to run for president should automatically be disqualified from ever doing so." Easiest, if the loan amount is of a size likely to be coverable by one person, is to let the creditor hold any collateral.

Due to you feeling whatever it is you are planning isn't worth bothering them with? or? Depending on what your needs are I might be willing to help you - I'm not really into the "trusted third party business" (as a business), but occasionally I get asked by people who I'm already involved with one way or another - and usually I accept.

Correct on both parts. I'm not around that much, and I used to do 3rd party holding for MD offerings. I believe RAW23 and Cista used to be as well. Likewise Cista is on an extended break and I'm not sure about RAW. Of course there is also Brock Nelson, Bad Bobby, Cosmoray, Xabier, and Ray McCormick. 5 of the best and most respected scammers in MD. Most of which used to be 3rd party holders as well. Well hell, I suppose you could add just about anyone from EBank to that list, even Manalplan(sp?) from DBank as well.
