Directional Scanner improvements to make it easier to teach and demonstrate how to use the D-Scanner
#1 D-Scanner Reticle Discussion Thread
#2 Please make the "scan width" option easier to use in combat situations. The slider is fine, but it can get hectic to do in an intense combat situation. Something representative but easier to use in the middle of small gang operations!
#3 Allowing us to "Fix" the D-Scanner in a particular direction as well? Such as a specific object in space? This would be useful for many reasons.
#2 Sidemap Browser Overhaul!!!
The sidemap browser is one of the most AWESOME tools but has been left to rot in the years of improvements.
Please, look on improving and renovating this great part of the UI. I recommend expanding its potential beyond simply a sidemap browser, and make it an important part of your interface for navigation and interactions.
Quick thoughts :
Make all the panels customizable for information - so you get 4 panels you can choose to show different information you want easily available on a button press.
For example :
Keep existing functionality for navigation except more flexible, navigating between regions and constellations and being able to explore the map on the fly and visually see your adjacent solar system space easily. Add functionality for the "Color stars by" so you can see data as well as see where your fleet members are as well, so you can track where your pilots are as an FC without needing to be in the map view and get statistics data and so on without having to open the map browser all the time.
A 3D Solar System Map to be shown in one of the panels, so you can see your solar system in 3D and interact as you move through it. May include scan probes.
A 3D Radar that could be used to show you where objects are in immediate grid space around you, would mimic the overview - would give you the ability to see where objects are in relationship to you in space. I think this would move more in the direction that Torfi talked about in one of the video blogs about moving away from staring at a list in your overview and being able to see it.
EVE Voice
Create video "pop-ups" for EVE Voice using 3D avatars to show you who is talking in fleet. NOSTRO AURUM NON EST AURUM VULGI |

Here's a little feature ...
When you get webified, instead of your top speed showing "max" nerfed speed with blue bars, can you show a RED speedometer to show that our top speed is getting reduced and it makes it very clear we're being webbed and how much rather than thinking we're going full speed :

CONTRACT SYSTEM :
When contracting to a corporation ANYONE in that corporation can grab that contract (or internal contract).
Can we have a SETTING on a contract that only allows directors/contract managers to accept that contract.
The issue is this :
To make a contract to the "leadership" of a corporation so that it doesn't get stuck in one persons contracts list (and thus waiting for that person to log on) you can contract it to the leadership (and not the peons) and know that a leader will get the items whenever necessary without risking exposure to the corporation members that have no business with that contract.
Of course, the ability to make a general contract to a corporation should remain for internal auctions, etc, etc.

For Better Fleet Coordination
The ability to set SQUAD mates separate colors from FLEET Mates - so you can "watch" squad mates more closely in a combat, and make it easier for a squad leader to focus on and give specific commands - this would help build a more thorough Chain of Command - allowing fleet commanders to dictate overall orders while allowing squad leaders to micro-manage their fleets in a fight.

Overview Filter "State" Settings is very obtuse as well as very very non-sensical from the standpoint of WHY would you want to filter like this.
The issue is simple :
For example, In order to see a CORP MATE to filter out ONLY FOR CORP MATES you can NOT DO IT. You are forced to show all "No Standings"/"Blue Standings", etc with your corpmates because :
You need to add has "Low" OR "Bad" security standings, so you see any corpmates with low sec standings
You need to add NO STANDING filter, so you see corpmates you don't have set any standings.
As of the last patch you know also need to add "HAS A BOUNTY", so you HAVE TO SEE people with bounties, if you have corpmates with bounties.
Basically, it's IMPOSSIBLE TO say "I want to filter for "Pilot is in your corp". and ONLY see corpmates. You have to see, PIRATE, NEUTRALS, and BOUNTIES. Basically, you HAVE to show everyone anyways!! The check should show any and all people who match those criteria being checked, not only those who intersect at the selected criteria.
The reason is simple, the Overview Filter states works on INTERSECTION LOGIC rather than simply UNION logic of all who meet the criteria checked
ON top of it all, it bugs out when I change the pilots standings in the middle of changing overview settings.
