When one looks into the face of Chaos, one can only
choose the road of madness. The Hegemon saw into
the eyes of Chaos and was thus turned into a madman.
However, the Hegemon was not content in mere
madness, thus he found the True Power and vowed
forever to fight the Chaos.
Seeking to quell the ravages of the anti Order, the
Hegemon sought to set right the threads of his
existance. His internal quest extended beyond himself
to that of the roads traveled by Others. He shaped
them to follow Order and fight Chaos.
A mighty war waged between the forces of the
Hegemon against the forces of the Chaos Lord and
his vast zergs of disorganized ruffians few would be
justified to call armies. The worlds they fought over
became uninhabitable, destroyed by the weapons of True Power.
The Chaos Lord was driven back in a century long
battle to the realm of Tyrrana, but in that battle the
Hegemon suffered a wound that would not heal. Thus
the Hegemon died victorious.
Millenia after the Hegemon's death his vision and
essense were discovered and realized by a pod pilot.
Who after studying the ancient texts declared himself
the Hegemon. Those who would challenge his claim
are quick to be silent when he wields the True Power....
Introduction to E.A.R.T.H.
E.A.R.T.H. Federation is the name of the Alliance that I will found as Hegemon (CEO) of Citizens of E.A.R.T.H. [CSOL]. The acronym stands for Eternal Allied Republic of the Terran Hegemony. You can see why it's shortened to EARTH. The Federation will be a single corp alliance, that controls, maintains, and developes a region (or more) in 0.0. With a potential membership of 6,300, I am confident CSOL will be up to the task. The website is currently under construction, but should be completed soon.
Hegemon
I have been playing Eve Online since April 8th, 2004. As is clearly evident, this is not my original main character. You may have known me as ActiveX or Sobeseki Pawi, neither of which are me any longer. The EARTH Plan is an old project of mine originally intended to be a corporate conglomerate, but it evolved into a complete nation with a government, territory, and citizens. I have high hopes for E.A.R.T.H. and am already putting far more of my time, money, and experience into it's developement than anything I've done in or out of Eve before.
E.A.R.T.H. Citizenship
To understand what EARTH is and what it will do you have to first understand how its designed. The basis of the EARTH Plan is its Citizens. Everyone in EARTH is a Citizen of EARTH. You join EARTH to be a Citizen. And from there you can volunteer for EARTH Force or EARTH Civil Engineering. But neither are required. The only thing required of EARTH Citizens is membership in the Militia and follow EARTH Law. We also prefer the Citizens to use EARTH space (when we get it), which is really the whole point of becoming one.
Citizen Benefits:
- Freelance (no excessive obligations)
- Use of EARTH space and stations in a lucrative 0.0 region
- Private POS placement options
- Jump Clones (subject to limited availability)
- Can buy ships and modules at cost from Civil Engineering (this will include any Tech 2 ships/items we can build)
- Protection of EARTH Force in EARTH space (when out of EARTH space any reasonable effort will be extended, ie we cant go 200 jumps to rescue you from a pirate)

Hey, great graphics, who made them? Oh right... that would be me. 
I am glad to see a strong interest in EARTH stirring up. It's good to know that I am not the only one who has grown weary with the way most corps are run, and are thirsty to try something new and different. I very much like the idea of living in an empire as opposed to working for a company.
I expect I should have the website online within the next 24-48 hours, complete with forums, a killboard, and also an IGB compatible version. Be looking for it soon...

I've been watching the EARTH channel and attempting(!) to answer questions. A lot of good people have stopped by to ask questions and some to just chat for a while. The interest is growing and I'm keen to see just how far this will go. The most popular question in EARTH chanel has been which new 0.0 space is being talked about. The answer is the new Kali space coming soon. The second most popular question in EARTH chanel has been what a member of the corp will be "required" to do. The answer is do as little or as much as you want. You decide your level of participation in corp activities.

We are reaching the point that CSOL needs to begin work on its two divisions:
EarthForce:
I am looking for an experienced fleet commander who is willing to be creative with tactics and strategy for EarthForce's Strategic Commander position (highest within that division). This individual would have the rank Lord Marshal, and be first in line for piloting a Titan (yes, even before the Hegemon). Anyone interested in this rare opportunity needs to have the motivation and leadership quality to manage, maintain, and command a military that could potentially be 1,000+ strong.
EarthEngineering:
For this division, I am looking for a self starter who has experience with POSes and can take over the planning of how to setup and run them (I am admittedly very inexperienced in dealing with them). This individual should also be a leader of sorts who can organize the division's various Projects that will range from Capital Ship construction to Outpost construction to Frigate mass production.

The website is now online at http://www.earth-fed.org, and as we speak Ex is adding all the pertinent corp info that everyone wants to know. The forums are not yet online pending some template adjustments but should follow shortly, and then I will start work on the IGB compatible version.
Membership seems to be growing by leaps and bounds still, seems their numbers double every time I log on. I can only hope they can sustain this momentum, EARTH has grand aspirations and will only be capable of attaining them if this momentum is sustained. Keep them coming, guys!

I have joined E.A.R.T.H.
What I like is the freedom that the corp allows members so that we are able to do what we want instead of want the corp requires.
Watching the corp coffers grow when I am doing missions also gives a sense of self satisfaction that even though I am doing missions to benefit my characters the corporation is also benefiting indirectly.

There is a surprisingly impressive number of people who are doing just that. We have already had a couple people leave much more prominent corps/alliances and many more watching to see what happens. So get your box seats while you still can.

Have a couple of questions:
If i head your way, potentially bringing two more citizens with me, what regions are E.A.R.T.H members operating in currently?
We are in Molden Heath area at the moment, so would like to know what sort of relocation treck we would need to make?
If we have a long journey to make, could we get any assistance relocating our "stuff"?
Are you operating in only high sec at the moment, or is there presence below 0.5?
What level of corp tax are you imposing?

Our official empire presence is essentially limited to Orvolle and the Placid region. I am currently exploring 'training 0.0' options, perhaps in Syndicate.

I lived in MH for a long time, and the only place you will need to be wary of, is the jumps through Amamake and 3 other low sec otw to Orvolle.

Absolutely, our only official ops in empire long term will be Relocation Services and occassionally a trade run. Atm however it would have to be discussed at length, since we do not currently have the military power to be impulsive.

I like how much enthusiasm there is both from the leadership and the new citizens. I am highly intrigued and considering joining your Empire.
Is there anything happening in game yet? Like any coordinated efforts to increase bankroll and laying down some kind of brickwork for the initial claim of the new region? What kind of cooperative efforts are in progress?
Has there been any kind of poll/inquiry as to who else may have their futures set on the region that the EARTH Federation is planning for?

My friends and myself (4 of us) have decided to join EARTH as Citizens.
An exciting idea with the freadom to be your own boss whilst still under the friendly social umbrella of the Corp/Alliance.
This is what Eve needs at the moment, a different and thought out goal without the down side of Alliance life.
The only thing I would suggest is that Earthforce will have to have the patience of angels as the freelancing aspect of the Corp will have them under constant pressure to defend Citizens and respond to their actions and calls for help. Will they be paid a retainer ?

We have 46 members, so there is bound to be low activity periods at this time, but we ultimately will be a 23/7 presence. We just need some slow time individuals to brave the bore long enough to make it exciting. Keep in mind, everyone save the first 10 members was recruited by a Citizen, not myself. All Citizens can recruit into the corp. So if it is too quiet for you, make it louder

To be accurate, EarthForce is only responcible for the protection of individuals in Earth space, or on official CSOL ops. So when you leave our space without an escort (if you need one), you deserve what you get. This is something I want to be clear, EF is not there to rescue you from npcs (tho they might anyway), they are there to protect the integrity of our borders and the assets/interests of the Federation.

An update, I have revamped the government structure into a Department form rather than the previous limited form.
They are Department of Defense (EarthForce is under this), Department of the Interior (formerly EarthEngineering), Department of Commerce, Department of the Treasury, and Department of State.
They will perform all the major functions of the Federation. Specific positions in these Departments are needing to be filled by players who don't mind a bit of administration in their play time. Contact me for more information.

Democracy doesn't work efficiently enough in a game style environment. The Hegemon is the equivalent of an Emperor. There is a Security Council that consists of all the heads of each Department in the government that can act in the name of the Hegemon if a time of emergency arises.
We accept all player and character experience and sp levels.
You are required to play at least 0 (zero) hours a year, but if you are in a position such as Secretary of Defense, more play time is a good idea for keeping said position.

A lot of decent and easy going guys. No obligations unless you take a post within the government or the two branches. Its a very ambitious plan to start building a sovreign nation but with the many play styles we are attracting I think we are going to be well equiped enough to pull it off.

Less than two weeks until Empire Control 5 finishes. In the mean time CSOL is scouting out 0.0 space locations and preparing to set up some POSes for massive resource collection ops. We are still recruiting, and still have big plans.
We have reached 82 Citizens and the Treasury is almost at 2 billion ISK.

 We need the alliance mechanic to do anything relating to Sovereignty.
The number one cause of death to any alliance is intercorp politics.
The EARTH Plan is only designed to work with one corp.
Empire Control 5 allows 1300 members, Sovereignty will allow up to 6300 members.

Our empire wars are hurting our membership numbers. Our killboard is dominated with our deaths not our kills. Our plans in 0.0 are stalled.
I am not discouraged, infact the attention we have been getting from Hybrid Syndicate and others is reminding me that we have a long way to go before we can simply swat pests such as them away. It is...helping perspective.
The nation we are building will not be built overnight, nor will it be built by one Citizen. Rather this nation must be built by the collective efforts of the people who believe in the tenets and the foundations it sets for how a 0.0 alliance should be run. We would not start a war, but four wars have been declared on us before. There shouldn't be many wars now that it costs 100mil for people to declare war on us. We do not currently have 0.0 space. We are about 50 members strong, with room for 1300 or so becuase of corp skills. Eximius Josari is no longer our CEO. He has been replaced with Kurull Skullsplitter. We need a lot of people. If you want to be a Earthforce member, then all you hav eto do is talk to either me or HermodAus once you become a citizen.
