Is it possible to revive a corporation after everyone has left it? As in taking the name and ticker?

If theres no more members in the corp left, you can just create a new corp, with the name and ticker of the old one.

Probably not. I've already wondered the same.
Someone took the rather unique name of our rather successful pvp clan in another game, formed a mining corp in 2004 with that name and now it's got only 1 member who's probably inactive since a long time. My first thought was a war dec, but doesn't work, if nobody plays.

Interesting topic cos' i had the same problem , at the time no-one knew how to help , i made a corp for myself just before joining an alliance way back , thing is when i left the alliance there were no members in the original corp i made but i still wasn't able to make make the same namd corp again .
Anyone know why ? i had to use a zero in the name , while it looks ok-ish i'd prefer having OH

No you cant. Once a corp dies its name and tag will stay reserved and without GM powers theres no way of getting into the corp. Ive tried

Josh is correct...if anyone in Eve is an expert on this particular subject...its me...and it was very annoying each time it happened.
