Sad. I don't know what I'd do, if this diagnosis hit me, except trying to inform myself as well as I can about the possibilities and chances that are still left, which you probably did, too.
Don't really know what to say, except that I wish you that you are able to make the best out of your situation now, the best possible time under these circumstances and a lot of luck.

I'm really at a loss to say anything meaningful, except, make sure your story gets out there, and body permitting, do the things you've always wanted before you go.

This isn't an End hitgirl Just a new begginning as was stated. There MUST be a rythm and reason to everything that happens to everyone. For you God's plan is almost complete and what he has in store for you now has to be so wonderous that words can't do it justice. My grandfather had stage 4 cancer and was in massive pain in the last 6 months of his life... Personally I hope I never am force into that kinda decision. Do I live for X months in horrible pain. Or do I live for half that in relitive comfort... I wish you the best with the time you have left. Who knows it could be that the cancer could go into remission (stranger things have happened in the medical community) at which point I'll keep an eye out on the Battlefield for you

Hitgirl: I would like to add somthing.
If you have time, get out there and do everything you ever wanted to do. Enjoy everylast shred of time you have, dont let it go to waste.
Somethings to concider,
1. Have a living funeral/wake. It will help your loved ones and your friends with the loss. And they can be a blast to be at.
2. Make sure you will is uptodate. And any bills are paid if possible...
3. Have a living will done soonest. To include a DNR statement. Do not resusitate (spelling) if that is your choice.
4. Make your peace with all, not just with some. That will help them also...
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter pirate or mixture of them all.

Now some may say this is cruel but too bad. I have no sympathy for you in all honesty. Sure, it must really put a crimp in your day to know that your are dying, but how many people die everyday? 1 million? 10 million? Coming on the internet and telling us may garner you some sympathy from those players you call friends, but not me. Most people couldn't care less about those people dying every second of the day, becuase if we did, we would spend all our time grieving for those that die. Harping on about it here doesn't make me change my opinion.

It was my opinion. Just because I don't subscribe to the "lets all automatically give our symapthies to someone telling us a sob story" theme like everyone else, doesn't, I repeat, does not allow you to wish cancer on someone.

Being an atheist, I honestly don't know (and don't even care that much, I have no intentions of dying any time soon, and I certainly wouldn't want to die, or think about it) for what happens when one dies, but whatever does happen, may it be a good experience for you. Whether it's heaven, reincarnation, becoming some kind of strange ethereal creature that communicates to others through dreams, or whatever other infinite possibilites there are, I wish you luck. I do honestly think you should consider treatment, it could become painful and simply drag out a painful death/speed up death, but it could also save you from the cancer for many years.

I truely hope by some miracle you pull through, take up alternative therapy or something, just believe!.. okok maybe that wont work but either way i feel like a spanner offering my condolences when id hate to have people saying theyr so sorry but eh waddya gonna do. Hmm i hope you make the most of your time left.... leaving a computer game is agood plan, go see the world is what id do. As I understood it, "I'm dying" threads from longtime players were usually allowed in the General Discussion forum, not because of the rules but rather out of, well courtesy, eh wystler?
Anyway, if you got diagnosed with cancer, and made the conscious decision to refuse treatment, then you don't have my sympathy nor pity, not because you don't deserve it but rather because you don't seem to need it.
