CCP likely has employees leave and join all the time, problem ebcomes when several well-known employees leave in a close timeframe, people start thinking "oh may gawd everyone is leaving", but tis the same effect that the news had in the US once they started documenting school violence, even if it only occurs in one school out of milions every 5 eyars it soudns like "OH MY GOD EVERYDAY PEOPLE ARE BEING SHOT". There's no reason to suggest they aren't applying to Riot, who must surely offer a much higher QOL for employees.

I don't think so CCP isn't that big I mean they make good money, But for a dev to make more or move up they are small and other companies have room for promotions. Anyone would leave a job if they can make more somewhere else. Its sad to see them go but if Devs feel they can't grow anymore with a company its time to move on.

Well Riot has been trying to put a server everywhere they can. Just last year they made a Russian and a Latin American server. If I'm right Riot has servers set up in:
China, North Korea, EU west, EU East, Russia, Brazil, NA, Latin America, and Oceania.

On a side note, I'm surprised the League of Legends fad has lasted so long. It isn't a very good game, yet is super popular, surely it won't last forever. Well I guess it depends what you want from a game.
I enjoy league as if I have a spare 30 mins or so then I fire up league and i'm in a game within minutes.
League to me is like being a kid again and popping into a arcade to kill a bit of time. Its good fun, plain and simple. |
