*prebattle* The SA force intercepted a convoy in route to CA forces and grabbed about 25 blueprints including MEGA BEAM LAZER, TACYON HEAVY LAZER, 1400mm HOWITZER, and expensive ammo up to EMP large, Multifreq Large and cataclysm cruise missle.
An SA scout found CA forces in Vol in a defensive position with drones deployed. They destroyed the scout but not before he got a subspace message to the SA high command. Acting quickly the SA command their main task force to a neighboring system.
*Battle of Yol* Jumping together the entire SA task force plunged into the CA battlegroup head on.
Jammers activated as soon as the force came out of warp and the ships were disabled for a few seconds.
The first casulty was a Blackbird, destroyed before their computers came back on line after warp.
Only 1 minute into fight about 10 CA battleships mysteriously appeared at the battle. Apparently they were cloaked. (logged off).
Confused from the battle, many SA began to fire on each other. SA commanders quickly gained control of the force, focusing fire on one ship at a time.
5 minutes into the fight SA reserves warped into the fight.
6 minutes into fight the SA flagship was destroyed and the SA forces retreated and rallied at Yol 5.
1 minutes later. Responding to destress calls from stranded forces, the SA fleet warped to the ARG gate and re-engaged CA forces.
8 minutes after the fight began, the SA fleet scattered.
Losses overall according to map: 20 SA losses counted: 4 battleships 3 cruisers CA losses counted: 2 battleships 1 cruiser
Losses are still being tallyed and may not be accuate for some time. The stats will be posted as soon as we know.
**** a gm was present at the fight and will be counting losses as well. |

Edited by: Shara El on 23/09/2003 07:56:19 according to the map 20 ships were destroyed. you only have 15 listed, looks like you should count again.
I don't doubt that CA forces lost less, but i don't think we should jump the gun on the counts. Lets hear what the gm quotes first.
Please take into consideration our forces were jumping into theirs. They already had their drones out and were on top of the jump in area. We we so lagged at first that we were damaged before our magnetic fields were realigned. Also, you had ships logged off hiding your numbers. Very cleaver but pretty shadey. All in all I think both sides fought hard. It will not be the last battle, I assure you.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I can't wait until I'm not a total softie and can actually participate in some large scale combat like this.
Incidentally it's good to see people are making the best of a bad situation and still having fun despite the major problems going on in the game right now.

Nice to see some corps putting their money where there mouth is.
I'm a bit of a carebear myself but I like to hear about other people getting hurt. Kinda ghoulish I suppose.

First of all, the battle was in Curse...not in Stain. You attacked us.
Secondly, there was no convoy that was intercepted.
Curse was also outnumbered nearly 2 to 1. We lost 1 battleship, and 1 cruiser. Stain lost at least 7 battleships, and 5 cruisers.

Edited by: Civil Deity on 23/09/2003 08:34:15 Most of that was accurate. We did shoot down a convoy carring many blueprints. It is still unknown as to which alliance his allegiance lays, however he was in curse and our orders were to destroy any and all ships we came across.
As for the battle. It is true, we had about 17 ships in our fleet, about 11 b-ships and 6 support eware crusiers. We were watching the map and their force seemed to be dwindling, when it hit about the 10 mark we gave the order to warp in.
People in charge of SA's force. Civil Justice and Specter. CEO of Everlasting Vendetta and Omega.
Our forces warped in split like ~8 in the fight 8 out of the fight. Blows were immediately exchanged dispite the heavy lag from mines, drones (including mining drones), cargo containers titled (come and get some lag *****) and more. The tide was already in CA's favor as our forces scrambled to get in the fight. Then just as it appeared SA was about to take the upper hand, multiple CA people started logging on. The battle tiped in favor of both sides too many times to count. When the dust settled CA did come out on top.
So far my count is 4 confirmed b-ship losses (3 personal from EV) and about 1-3 more suspected. I know we shot down more then the enemy will ever claim as 20 ships destroyed aren't adding up with our numbers.
On a personal note this was soooooo much fun. We knew we would endure HEAVY LAG and i asked my boys, "We're gonna take losses, We're gonna face lag, anybody wanna say no" Not one person voted not to go. SA may have lost this fight but it was a moral victory and all of our b-ship losses have already been replaced.
My hats off to the CA, nice fight, my challenge and question to you is do you have the balls to attack us next time when we're in a fortified position? Because earlier in the day your forces had the opportunity and logged off, which lead to our offencive push.
All of this information is 100% true to the best of my side of the story. I do not lie or embellish these facts as I feel the public has a right to know.
Oh i forgot to mention. SA made sure a GM was present to watch first hand the lag that mines, drones and cargo containers create on this kind of stuff. I hope that CCP learned a lot from this large scale battle and look forward to more in the future.
Sincerely,
Civil Deity

I can verify that that convoy did not belong to CA because I talked to the CEO of the corp that lost it. It was some non-allied corp that just got caught in the middle, I'm sad to say.
By the way SA, let me know ahead of time you guys are going to attack us so I don't get caught behind your main forces and have to attack your reinforcements

"You guys did have 5+ log in so you evened out the tied plus u were in a fortified position. As for me lying I never lie. While I trust and respect all my fellow Allaince members I am not speaking for them. *I* Civil Deity will never lie on these forums and I represent Everlasting Vendetta as a trustworth and respectable corp. Take my words as truth or not, I know in my heart what happened. If you guys did lose that few b-ships then good for you, defence definately gets a HUUUUUUUUGE advantage in this game right now and my corporation personally came with not even a 10th of our maximum power. It was fun, you guys won the feild tongiht we'll win the feild next time and we'll win the war. Good day in eve indeed. "
Ok, you may not lie, but you are wrong. Not ONE pilot on our side logged off and back on. The pilots that came in as reinforcments were just that. They came in from behind and helped us finish off the battle. BTW, do you think the 13 ppl that crushed you are all we can field?
BTW, why didnt you (Polaris guy) lock this thread and leave the other one go? If its because this one was first, fine but it begins with outrageous lies.

As i live in the UK i was'nt around for the battle, tho i must have missed it by just a short time, as i logged around 4am.
I can assure you the containers that were there present during the battle were not there for the purpose of laggin the SA as they jumped in. There was no talk of ever trying to get an unfair/exploited advantage over the SA in our gang chat, other then having the advantage of being prepared.
I've heard from corp members it was an excelent battle, damn shame i was'nt there :(

I guess the Apoc that did the damage wasnt really there was it? In fact we got Crimsonjade's corpse from it. I have the Concord msg that says she killed my ship you liar. Your pathetic missles didnt even hurt me. You are lucky that my FoF cruise missles were already spent killing battleships. Also, you are the same guy that ran from an IBIS, LOL. Eve II got some nice screeny's of you. BTW, it was Miz ship that killed your Blackbird. But, if you guys want to pretend that you are so incompetent as to kill you own guys, its fine with me.
I use to have respect for you guys. Sadly, it is fading due to your lies and whinnng. I have a copy of the local channel where all you guys did was complain to the GM (you requested) and he was unmoved. Then you flee to the forums and proceed to lie. I did infact lose my Scorpion (our only battleship loss ). But, my insurance more than covered it.
I do thank SA for the fun though. I was rather impressed that they infact did attack us. But, the lies and whinning are going to tarnish your image IMHO.
Please stop saying we had people logged off and that they came back on. OMG, is that the best you can do? Honestly, the only other guys we had were coming up from HED-GP and they were a nice addition. Basically, your 2:1 advantage wasnt enough for you. I really liked watching your cowards warp away and leave your allies to die against inferior numbers.
Congradulations, you have once again made Col. Custer proud.
Also, I would like to thank Eve Guardian for an accurate reporting of the battle on their site. If you havent seen itClick Here.

About Eve-Guardains reports..
They got this backwards.. Probally a typo.. But god only knows.
"There are even rumors of a Bestower bearing Blueprints belonging to Stain Alliance members being lost, during an earlier incursion by the so-called "Curse" Alliance. Representatives of the "Curse" Alliance have denied any knowledge of its destruction. Given the boastful nature, and the quickness to gloat on either side of the conflict, this reporter suggests the Stain Alliance to look elsewhere for their missing Blueprints."
"Blueprints belonging to Stain Alliance members " I belive they meant to say Curse Alliance in that part. But then again, one of yah Curse guys say it wasnt you but and indepentant. So whatever.

This threads funnier than the last one with comments like this:

Well how about considering you were attacking your meant to be prepared for this kind of thing obviously CA are going to be in a defensive position they were "defending" As for logging off i logged off with alot of others.
We took a fleet to stain killed all of the MASS and anyother SA peeps we came across on the way then sat in stain unchallenged for what must have been near 2 hours we entered the system and had some solar wind peeps and Lord Zith and some other dude say "pod all noobs on sight if the dont identify themselfs" yes spelt just like that. Funny because those noobs made everyone apart from themselves go running to a station and talk smack about SA is coming for you crap fo over an hour. Needless to say with no Sa comign to get us alot of us logged off or went home and logged off.
Then when SA finally desides its big enough it came to challenge CA and yes since CA was in curse and defending they were in a defensive position and those who hadlogged off and were still in contact did log back on i for one wasnt sadly.
All in all its turned out like all the other realistic battles beween CA and SA.
We lost a scorp on that one thats a major accomplishment for you guys in SA the last scorp you killed was 8 vs 1 and before that it was the same guys bestower you killed 7 vs 1 So thats 2 battleship losses for us and nearer 20 for you.
But oh well keep killing those convoys and eventually one might belong to CA and then you can claim you've killed more unarmed indies than we have

I've been at every CA defense fleet except for the one tonight, as I was one of the reinforements that "logged on" (I actually came in from behind the SA fleet). At none of them was the cargo can trick used.
We usually have 1 or 2 for forces to gather at which is obviously no big deal. We use drones, but everyone who PVP's uses drones, so I don't think we can be called "exploiters" for that.
As for mining drones, I've seen one ship in the many I've worked with use that and I was vocal in my criticism, but he claimed they were useful as a shield against missiles. Even if he was, in fact, doing it solely for the reason to create lag, that's one in several hundred alliance members.

I watched as CA forces more then 2 to 1 their favor moved down the chain of stain. Yes it was just prior to the unscheduled downtime however I guess they felt it prudent to return to curse rather then face us on our turf.
The SA forces moved up into curse. We split into 2 groups with 9 of us in a forward group that waited for nearly an hour while the 18-19 CA in the next system would not advance on our position. How daring...
Finally the word was given for the rear forces to advance and form up to assault their entrenched system. We knew exactly what they would pull. Not once was it suggested to camp the "jump in" incase they rallied the courage to advance on our position.
It was decided that we would assault their lagfest camping spot regardless of losses if for no other reason then to show them how true warriors fight with honor.
The results were actually better then we had anticipated. Even with the force being split in two upon sytem entry and delayed regrouping due to the dead space of the battleground we pressed the attack for a considerable time.
When the smoke cleared 3 enemy vessels were witnessed in control of the scene. The others were either destroyed or fled the battlefield to lick wounds. This may be the reason for conflicting loss reports. It is possible they had withdrawn but who cares. CA took the day and SA displayed the courage and boldness of action that the CA has yet to display. We thoroughly enjoyed the encounter, there will be many more in the coming days...
One last note: If the enemy claims they do not use the drones, canisters, mines and the delay of jump in as an exploit then why do they not have the courage to entrench at a gate or station, or god forbid... a planet. Is the warp in delay not enough of an advantage for your valiant warriors?

The forces you are speaking of before the unscheduled down time were in response to gathered forces that seem to be coming from Stain. Unless you consider U-Q to be SA property, we never actually entered Stain.
I must admit, you did have balls jumping into a jump-in point blockade. The main reason it was used is because right now, EVE game mechanics make it the best defensive formation, and the CCP represenitive on the scene assured both our sides that this kind of formation is not considered an exploit. I agree that it gives defenders too much of advantage, but keep in mind that attackers can have surprise to their advantage, though you lost it since you took too long to actually come and attack.

You guys had more than that, we were watching you. Anyways, you wouldn't move on us, nor would we move on you. You advanced towards us, not us towards you. You were retaliating on us for our attack on Stain. You guys advanced to within 4 jumps of U-QVWD, but never advanced further. We got bored and headed back to HLW-HP, and your forces withdrew as well.
Proof
Quote: Finally the word was given for the rear forces to advance and form up to assault their entrenched system. We knew exactly what they would pull. Not once was it suggested to camp the "jump in" incase they rallied the courage to advance on our position.
The attack never came until we moved back to HLW-HP and most of us logged off, only when we did not have many pilots online did you bother to advance for a second time.
Quote: It was decided that we would assault their lagfest camping spot regardless of losses if for no other reason then to show them how true warriors fight with honor.
More like you attacked us because most of us had logged off and you have a 2:1 advantage, but this was not enough, as your forces were routed and destroyed.

As far as the mining drones go, it is possible they were out there. Yet, it is a known fact that one of our guys had to get there asap after he logged in he only had ogre drones and MINING LASERS on his Armageddon. Yet, those drones did manage to kill some ships. He quite possibly had some mining drones deployed without knowing it as it is rather easy to "select all" and deploy. As if a few mining drones caused you to lose. It was your obvious lack of skill. Our forces were fully prepared to suffer sever losses in the battle against 2:1 odds.
If I see one more whine about the jump in point I will be forced to post what your invited GM had to say about it. He was there after all and he watched the battle go down. Any way you spin it you just had your Waterloo. Deal with it.

I was not present at the final battle but was there at earlier skirmishes...
Is the CA accounting for the 2 Scorpion Class Battleships destroyed in GE-8 by Solar Wind member Thirdstorm as part of their losses?
or is it just the final battle that the kill count is for?

At least one was a RUS Member. The other I am not certain....
This was right after ccp shut down and brought up the server.
Both parties forces were a bit scattered at that point in time as CA or SA did not have time to withdraw/deply fully in the time limit CCP gave for server shutdown.

I wasn't there - have no idea what happened. However, it seems that large fleet battles have turned into the two forces waiting at jump in point at systems next to each other. You wait for hours, then one side gets bored and jumps in - and as was always expected, gets wiped out.
Until people jump 100k away, or at random points, I feel these fights are pointless. It looks like SA got hammered this time, and whoever jumps next time will also get hammered. So I hope SA have learned to wait for hours and hours for other side to jump, or log off and play something more interesting.
Does anyone have the answer to jumping into 30 ships with drones and ... errmm - navigation CCs out? Or do we read books while we fight as well as when we mine.

I'll return the coutesy of polite disagreement. Your "proof" means nothing as it was never said you didnt camp o**** (pet name) for a period of time. There were skirmishes witin stain with some advance CA forces and they were routed. Maybe your alliance wasn't fully aware of the position of many of it's "friends".
Quote: The attack never came until we moved back to HLW-HP and most of us logged off, only when we did not have many pilots online did you bother to advance for a second time.
Actually we had 9 pilots waiting one jump from VOL for an hour while your forces were 17-19 in VOL. CA forces wouldnt advance even though our rear forces were 5 jumps behind and holding. There is no doubt of this and these numbers are very accurate.
When we saw that the fearless CA would not advance on such a numerically inferior force we decided to bring up the rear force and proceed with a full frontal assault. By the time we formed and came at you the numbers were close to even although we expected you had reinforcements which of course titlted the numbers back in your favor. Of course numbers are nearly irrelevent with a lag beast conjured to your aid.
Rest assured that CA will have no choice but to meet us on a more even battlefield without your courageous shield of lag.

Lets all chip in and buy SA a few new excuses. Aso comments like these comming from SA are just outright contradicting to their previous actions
Quote: It was decided that we would assault their lagfest camping spot regardless of losses if for no other reason then to show them how true warriors fight with honor
LOL dont you mean "defending" spot since CA as in Curse alliance were in curse and you Stain alliance werent in stain and these "true" warriors that fight with "honor" the same one which killed the convoy that wasnt even CA on the way down lol
Quote: The results were actually better then we had anticipated
LOL you guys need help, though withthat attitude i can see us at CA are gona have alot of fun
Quote: SA displayed the courage and boldness of action that the CA has yet to display.
You mean the SA that hid in the stations in DSS then came running down to curse when CA moved back to log off for downtime?
oh yeah courage and boldeness i can see that not......
Quote: There were skirmishes witin stain with some advance CA forces and they were routed.
Um i was in stain yesterday with alot of CA and all we got was smack talk off a few of your noobs lord zith and co from inside the station. The few of mass solar wind and SA that came into the surrounding systems or engaged CA in stain died rather quickly and your noobs like i said were still in the station last time i checked until CA left cursethats not routing for that you need to fight back in your own region what made CA leave stain was boredom
Quote: When we saw that the fearless CA would not advance on such a numerically inferior force we decided to bring up the rear force and proceed with a full frontal assault
Advance? why would they want to they are "defending" they can sit there and wait your the "attackers" you needed to "advance".
With your backward logic somehow expecting attackers to sit still and defenders to advance its no wonder you keep losing all those ships.
Quote: Rest assured that CA will have no choice but to meet us on a more even battlefield
Even battlefield you cant really expect us to think SA knows what that means. It took you 7 ships to kill a bestower then 8 ships to kill one of our bs thats 7vs1 and 8vs1 and now your complaining about even battles i dont think CA outnumbered you 7v1 or 8v1 did they?
And if it was 100vs1 in CA favour wouldn't it be your fault for "attacking" in the first place?
Fact remains you keep trying to charge into curse and then moan when you lose. How about not trying to attack a force that keeps beating you back?
Simple facts you need to understand is you can moan and make excuses all you want if CA comes into stain and kills loads of your ships and its uneven sides or we use drones or camp a jump in spot.
But if you come to curse and attack us and it all goes wrong then its your fault for coming and you just look like sore losers for making excuses.

I was very impressed at the at the unanimous vote to go in. There was NO HESITATION at all despite the risk... They knew they would have losses and yet they decided to fight rather than run. Ahh good. Seems we've worked all this out.
We (CA and SA) are both a pack of manipulating, cheating, ruthless, trigger happy, political masterminds who's only desire is to crush into sweet oblivion anything that may at some point pose a threat to our seat on top of the universe.
Combine that with the fact that we're all regular superheros when it comes to piloting and the only time we'd get our asses kicked is if we kicked them ourselves.
There. Now what else is there to argue about?

I find this pretty funny. Curse defends their homelands, and Stain whines they got beaten by them. Then stain blabs about some incursion attacks that were in their space. I shot you.. blah blah, you shot me... blah blah, you ran away blah blah, no you ran away blah blah.
Tsan Tzu's art of war states, first seek for battle then seek for victory. SA, i think you should read that book, might help with your whole lets run off and attack a fortified position thing and call our selves honourable for doing something supremely stupid and foolish...
To cap it all off, with all that has happened SA has missed the point. Stay out of Curse... then you won't have to worry about lag.. blah blah... cargo cans blah blah... mining drones blah blah. Maybe focus on defending your lands and we can all just get along, cuz thats what all you carebears out there want isn't it?

Jim Raynor: You are doing selective map screenies. You forgot about the ones 30-45 mins prior to that screenie that showed you guys greatly outnumbered SA. I was helping out the best I could by looking at the map, and although the counters are borked on the map, the red blip you guys had prior to your screenie was at least 1.5-2.0x the size of SA. BTW...didnt attend as was trying to finish the bloody agent missions and yup, I currently suck at pvp and am getting tired of continually blowing up Ruptures :)
On a complete side note.....who would like to see some icon colour change when your in a gang? I participated on Friday nite in another skirmish, and the hardest thing to figure out is who ship belongs to what force. Heck, even if they could put a blue bar or another colour alongside common gang members, I think it would help everyone

It seems that camping a gate is less of a risk.

I've yet to hear of any Pirate Corps being on the offensive (Unless they do what they use as an excuse when they get _their_ arses kicked...that is, to say, hideously out-numbering/over-powering the target), let alone being the group that warps in to a fight.
Having said that, I wouldn't even have heard of any of these Pirate Corps if I didn't read the forums. oO

Perhaps it's just me but I only really read information posted by people of authority. Specter and myself were the commanders of the SA fleet we both said good fight, CA won the day. We also both said that our boys knew what we were going into. We had a GM present so they could witness how their game handles large scale battles. We knew there was going to be lag we warped in anyways. Nobody with authority is whining. Both of us said good fight and we'll be back for more. Now I know why countries dont let their public talk to one another, its a spam fest of un-educated people just going at it. I'm sure there will be about another 10 pages added to this thread in the next few days, but honestly if your reading up to this point stop. The important information has already been stated.
I do have one question though. I would like to know who was the commander in the feild for the CA forces. Would like to chat with him privately next time I get the chance.
Have a good day gentlemen. As this post will continue to degrade more and more into un-educated spam fest I will no longer post to it. But it was a good fight and my troops are hungry for more. Civil Deity

Quote: It looks like SA got hammered this time, and whoever jumps next time will also get hammered. So I hope SA have learned to wait for hours and hours for other side to jump, or log off and play something more interesting.
What we learned was that we HAD FUN. We all knew we were probably going to not make it out. It was a display of bravery, something in short supply in this universe. We all bought insurance, so how did we LOSE anything except a few modules?
Some people do not seem to understand war. We jumped with the goal of driving off the enemy fleet. Yes, we took losses, but not because of your amazing skills. Every member of the SA stayed and fought as long as they could due to the fact that we were suddenly outnumbered from reinforcements. Who cares where the other forces came from, they were very effective. What was interesting was how quickly some of the CA battleships warped away in the early moments of the fight when the battle was still very close. I was talking with some of the people on the CA side and they also expressed their shock.
Again, everyone knew 100% what was GOING to happen and we went anyways. SINC you talk so much **** I can see it on your teeth. The only people are saw there of any importance were Black Omega, lead by Karnah, and some battleships from Legitmate Buisnessmen.

Well firstly i'd like to clear a few thigns up
Quote: I was not there before the server reboot so I can not account for that, however, you say you left Stain because of boredom and that we were hiding in the station in DSS. For one, they werent hiding in the station, they were waiting for you.
Waiting for what us to dock so they could run to the gates? we came in and they ran to the stations some of us went to the stations and they didn't come out just sat and flamed local.
So ok they were "waiting" for us your point is? waiting for what for us to accidently push self distruct, go home or fall asleep?
Good to see SA have some new battle tactics obviously the other dont work
Quote: Two: I believe you failed to realize we had a large force gathered a couple jumps ahead (in Catch) of DSS waiting for you guys to come. Now you are contradicting yourself when you say
I failed to realize how absurd your comments can become especially when you just said you werent even on at the time so this is all from your guys word of mouth probably those guys hid in the stations
Whilst we were in DSS we had people killing SA members up to 3 jumps away yes we were attacking thats obvious because when CA attack we kill more people than we lose thats a concept you might want to consider (you really need to think before you post)
Quote: We waited for you to come to us seeing YOU were the ones attacking. Now according to your little quote there, we are the ones defending, you are the attacker. YOU are the one that needs to "advance", not the other way around. I believe you guys just got scared and ran. .
Actually i believe you said you werent there so please make up your mind before using the "we" comment. If you had actually been there you could have opened your map and seen no SA force was gathering we did advance from hlw-hp to DSS killing all stainers we saw on the way by time we had got to DSS we had killed multiple SA bs and there was no blip in stain that really caught out attention we had the people in the station mouthing off and thought that most of the other systems would end up that way if we went there. So we stayed there whilst parts of our force went off in pursuit of certain targets which they killed then returned and getting near 2 hours and still no blip we went home and logged off then you attacked if you can call it an attack lol.
Now the main point that keeps comign up some people say SA was brave we have SA members here calling them valiant and bold lol
Personally i dont see how losing that badly can be called anything but dumb. Then coming on the forums and complaining about it when you have no one to blame but yourselves since you went to curse we didnt drag you there seems even dumber.
If you need to keep convincing yourselves you fought well or it was a brave act go ahead but anyone here who isnt SA or an alt or in Sa's pocket is laughing. Even if you all did stay and fight (thats called warp scrambled btw) you didn;t do to well unless you all got killed instantly (which means you didn't wilingly stay and fight) then you should have done alot better than you did being the attacker because realistically you got crushed.
And to top it all off moaning about being outnumbered at any point is funny coming from SA since this whole conflict started when you came to curse and had to use 7 bs to kill a bestower then had to use 8bs to kill a scorp a few days after

Ya know, when I was a teen-ager, we used to play basketball on Tuesday nights. We were all friends and it was a fair bit of fun. Sometimes you won, sometimes you lost but you didn't take it personally, and you called yourself if you had fouled the other guy.
After awhile some other people started coming who were so obsessed with winning that they never admitted having made a foul and accused defenders of fouling them every time they missed a shot. Even the score didn't seem to matter as much as arguing and insulting each other.
Eventually we all started doing it, and it took a month for me to realize that it wasn't fun anymore, that foolishness had managed to spoil my love of the game. Many of us stopped playing, and the gym time got cancelled. Don't think I've wanted to play basketball since.

SA does NOT need to justify attacking SINC, RUS or ANY of their supporters. So whine all you want about peaceful intentions in the Curse region, the truth has been laid about before the community of EVE through the past actions of SINC and RUS.

Hence, you have ZERO credibility, when you say here that you were neutral and now dislikes SA. That's a lie, and I hope people reading here has enough brain to see that.

Crimson can we have some of that of which you are smoking ? First of all Trigger from Mass Corp made his intentions clear well before sin or anyone even joined CA. would you like me to post his convo and emails ? I think Not!!! Anyway CA was attacked well before Sin arrived by Mass and Collective, I know it took them 10 BSs to take my scorp. So dont get all richeous here how we started this, cause you came down here first and Trigger did alot of chest pounding before hand. Seems to me that SA hands out "OR ELSE" ultimatums like candy, and then seems to have to go to the dentist.

Quote: Perhaps it's just me but I only really read information posted by people of authority.
Every post on this post like this one get so spammed down and filled with crap that it is not really worth to make a serious statement. Xirtam... We need to clear up some things from your post.
1. Red Corsairs is a known pirate corp, and MASS have official war with them. So it's not strange if we went to them in curse. When we found you and Shinra corp camping gates with R.C. there were only 2 things for you to do. Either stop camping with R.C. or enter this war. Instead you started complaining about our presence, clamining we shot at you, and that you were innocent. Yea, Trigger gave you a proposal. And instead you choose to ally yourself with the likes of Sinister, a corp you earlier stated that you were fighting AGAINST.
2. The destruction of your Scorpion. You had a BIGGER force than we had. We were moving towards you, and gathered up one system before where you were. Then you all jumped into the system where we were, and then jumped into another system and stayed there. After some minutes we went after you. To our surprice we only found some of you at the spawnpoint. I have no idea about where your friends went, since very few was there to help you. And Redon should be very happy that his Tempest survived. When he warped in, he managed to end up about 25 km away from us, and warped away before he got scrambled. Btw, my screenshot shows that we were only 7 SA ships there.

For one, they werent hiding in the station, they were waiting for you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Waiting for what us to dock so they could run to the gates? we came in and they ran to the stations some of us went to the stations and they didn't come out just sat and flamed local.
So ok they were "waiting" for us your point is? waiting for what for us to accidently push self distruct, go home or fall asleep?
I am talking about after the server reboot, not before.
Quote: quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We waited for you to come to us seeing YOU were the ones attacking. Now according to your little quote there, we are the ones defending, you are the attacker. YOU are the one that needs to "advance", not the other way around. I believe you guys just got scared and ran. . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually i believe you said you werent there so please make up your mind before using the "we" comment.
Like I said, I was there after the server reboot, not before. Now if only you would've even tried getting to DSS within that couple hours after the server reboot instead of just waiting for us to attack you in Catch. I wouldn't trust the buggy map if I were you.

Blah Blah Blah basically you could have just said you had a war with RC and decided to shoot everyone in the same region as them even if it meant killing bestowers (xirtams bestower with 7 ships) Triggers proposal was a chest pounding threat thats been slapped back into his face with every noob you send to curse in a bs and we send home in a pod.
WE didnt have any of 2 options since we and xirtam are neither Shinra or RC and i highly doubt the bestower you killed was camping a gate
YOU had no excuse you chose to shoot not only at RC or gate campers but at everyone you saw armed ship indy or whatever.
Quote: 2. The destruction of your Scorpion. You had a BIGGER force than we had.
DUDE learn to count "8" is bigger than "1" as for there only being 7 that highly depends on the angle of your screenshot and secondly your ability to count both of them not very promosing not enough to prove jack.
Quote: I am talking about after the server reboot, not before.
Then why write paragraphs about stuff when you werent even there no wonder you cant reply. Exactly like i said you cant comment on anything that happend before when we were in stain which means 99% of your post about "they were waiting for you" is total and utter wishful thinking if you had been on just think you could have sat in the station with them and *****ed or been podded with the ones dumb enough to come outside.
Quote: Like I said, I was there after the server reboot, not before. Now if only you would've even tried getting to DSS within that couple hours after the server reboot instead of just waiting for us to attack you in Catch.
Yes you have a bad habit of repeating yourself obviously. Why would we try getting back into DSS after having just left to head home for reboot? we'd been there done that podded anyone around and if their corpses werent frozen we'd have taken the t-shirts
We'd waited in DSS for a couple of hours for you guys to prehaps grow a pair and fight back we got bored there was gona be a reboot so we headed home unchallenged unhurt and then your telling me it took you a couple of hours after reboot to finally get your act together and gather a so called force and launch what has to be the lamest counter attack in history if you can call it that
The fact is if it took you 4 hours and a reboot to get that lot together and it still ended up like it did you guys would have been better off not logging on that day at all
Quote: I think dalman pretty much cleared that up for you Xirtam. And again, SINC is now allied with you are they not? So again, we shoot SINC and all their little buddies. Thats it, case closed, end of story. Why is that so hard to understand???
Dunno about what he cleared but he needs to clear his monitor and you need to clear those glasses. Whilst on the subject you should edit that to:
"we "try" to shoot" because every time you've attempted to shoot SINC or its little buddies they've creamed you you do remember why this thread is here right? because that little notion of yours trying to shoot us got you - alot of ships and made you look silly hence the reason SA members are here trying to make up good excuses.

aaarrgghhh. Who's twisting things.
I never said we attacked you because of Sinister. I said we attacked you because of Red Corsairs. And as we got more intel of corps working with RC they were also attacked.
You may have been mining. I never said you were not. I have no idea of what you were doing in that system(btw, you just confirmed that you were working with RC, which means you were not innocent as you claimed). Anyway, you can't deny all of you jumped 2 systems. And I don't know about what ships you were in, but you were more than us. So, all of you jumped into that system. Why you choosed to camp the jump in point with a just a part of your force I don't know.
http://home.swipnet.se/dalman/Xirta.JPG I don't know how you count, but I only see myself, 4 more MASS and 2 Collective. And NO, the rest of the members in gang is not local in that system.
Hmm, The Reclaimer actually seem to get something right: "WTF, you greedy bastards have nothing left to do other than pirate us. Its just that simple." Yea, it's that simple. But I find it hard to see how you can pirate a pirate.

Holy Cow Dobbo what were smokin last night cause I want some. You were locked and sensor damped by ONE blackbird while in the roid field, after you were locked TWO battleships came in and started firing while you warped away to a station. The TWO bships and one blackbird gave chase until you docked. The rest of us weren't in battleships and you never even saw us cause we were waiting at gates in case you warped to one of them. There were five blackbirds, a moa, two kestrals and a noob ship- the ship that docked and you made the prostitute jokes to. That's a grand total of eleven ships, but only two bships. These were the ships that jumped into vol and account for the five cruisers on the CA kill list. Omega Corp Advertisement

Dont they have a cool philosophy, kicking allied buts all over EVE? They just look cool to me thats all. Btw, you dont, nobody died and made SA the local Sherif. Dont have no credibility? Did I ever attacked MASS or the Collective who were sneafing all around Curse for some time now travelling in packs and scaring the freelancers out there with their low security? Nope!
Disliking SA? Who wouldnt? When he knows they already own the south west parts of EVE and now they re eyeing the southeastern regions as well? When ppl contact them to enter the SA and then those people get always ignored? Hearing they now fired to some unarmed and neutral ships cause they now like playing big generals in Curse? Should have I been so unlucky and end up in a pod too from SA? What would I do then? Contact SA for compenstation? What would you do then, you be calling me a derelict? Should I want to lose playing days untill the compensation from the good guys arrived? /OOC on. How about my sudden grief? Would any SA really cared how would I have felt? /OOC off.
Arent those some really good reasons for the people with enough brains who read here mr MASS?
Say, do you and SA feel like you need the other peoples oppinion? Me not. I cant give a ****, Im just a freelancer that found some opportunity to kick some big allied arses. I dont do public relations, you guys do.

It makes you look like the biggest teachers pet in the history of Eve. The best part is you whining babies complained to him and he put you in your place. If you want pirates, I suggest you start with Mass. 1manarmy is a known f*cking pirate who killed many friends of mine. What about Zen0? An ex-Sin member that betrayed them for you. He is kind like a free agent and a ***** all rolled into one. Actually, he fits into your alliance perfectly. Are these men not pirates? At the end of the day it was fun.
Kudos to Crimson Jade, your Apoc took a massive pounding before it went down. It was pretty awsome to see it stand its ground for so long as all around it your alliance members went up in flames.
Btw the ships that "logged on"... It was me, I warped out of the battle as I came under fire from 3 attacking ships, then I warped straight back in, hence it may have appeared that re-inforcements were arriving, when infact it was just me shaking a few locks.
Anyway, whatever GG one and all, lets do it again ASAP.

Now if you want to go completely off topic as you've tried to go way back the the begining of the thing stain fired the first shots and stains lost alot more ships modules money and face during each and every battle and overall.

The Reclaimer, your comments about 1man army and Xen0 are very inaccurate.
1man army quit eve and has now returned, and could be considered a n00b.
Xen0 was simply fed up with the gameplay Sinister offered, as well as some members in Sinc. As to who betrayed who, for some reason a Sinc member has the original blackbird BP that Xen0 owned(yea, yea, it's not worth very much, but still). And he also said the words "I never want to shoot an innocent again".
So no, none of those players can be considered pirates. However, if any "good" player, that MASS has never had problems with, would attack him because of his previous deeds, I'd accept that.
