IÆm surprised that we havenÆt seen a minne ship called a drakar yet. Anyway, enough history, what about Easter eggs? Like is there some code in the stars in morse code or something? And has ANYBODY been able to figure out how to read shiplogs yet? Where is all the other hidden cool stuff?
P.S. Scotty the station manager has nothing to do with Scotty from star trek. Scotty was the name of the landlord in the small building where CCP had their first office many years ago, hence ôstation managerö.
PPS I made that scotty crap up.

Not intented to be rude, but do you know that second words in system names "Lower Debyl" and "Upper Debyl" when pronounced mean a word "Дебил" in russian, which is "Moron"... :(

Alot of this might seem recognisable to you if you played ragnarok online the MMOG as it too has several links to norse mythology such as the yggdrasil tree.
On Easter Eggs, another quite popular one is that in one of the types of stations, there's a billboard which displays a screen which says "YOU MUST PLAY EVE YOU MUST PLAY EVE YOU MUST PLAY EVE"
Look up the named target painters under variations...check out the abbreviations, PWN, PWND, PWNED, PWNAGE etc

I was once told that the name Minmatar comes from the word minnimßttar which translates to "of lesser power", or something to that extend and is often used over children and others who can not easily defnd themselfs.
Minmatar=Minnimßttar.

Also, there is a system named "Balle", and I'm not sure if it's the same in Icelandic, but in Norwegian it's a word for an unspecified part of the male reproductive organs (closest literal translation is "ball", but its use varies).
I remember from Anarchy Online, there was an NPC named "Stolt Jensenberg" which is just a rearrangement of "Jens Stoltenberg", the norwegian prime minister.

also the "YOU MUST PLAY EVE YOU MUST PLAY EVE YOU MUST PLAY EVE" appears in the 'pleasure hub' station. Below it is the scrolling message asking someone to undock at station 42. Also in the same station is a flyer on the side of a pillar saying "this is a pointless babble", and a hologram of a naked woman somewhere else in the station. Enable 'load station environment' and right click-drag to point your camera away from your ship so you can see all this stuff
