Actually usially i dont take part of the lame ass flame fests but. HF did a heck of act with turning down the nap with fix and 3 minutes later HF just in it¦s full glory.
So HF is The Target , now we will see how determand fix are.
I Fought at the Egg Incedent and took part in blowing up the egg. Fix jumped on us at least 3 times and even ganked the crap out of me on the second jumpin.
Nothing complicated with it HF is the Target and you fix guys recomand picking on the Provi alliance. Happy hunting.

Sorry FIX deserves no respect, only BoBians say something like that cause they couldnt beat FIX when they first came into Delve to invade. FIX played it out smart and created a dependance on each other, they accepted to be the buffer zone for BoB.
FIX going on the offensive? The only time Fixians wandered out of their region was when they first tried to claim Querious and when BoB told them to help them fight vs G/IRON in Esoteria. So they lack all sorts of experience when it comes to the offensive.

Guess that word "failure" would be up for debate?
It all depends on what goals you set.
For instance, if you made some rediculous goal for yourself like "we will destroy FIX and have them disband" then you'll always have the hardasses who will keep the name and fly under it just to spite you. And those hardasses, for all their faults... are stubborn enough to never, ever quit.
On the other hand, if your goal is to do something reasonable, say... have fun playing a game? Then you're more likely to accomplish it.
It all comes down to good leadership who are able to realistically set expectations of their member base and... tbh... I didn't come back to be a diplomat, so my expectations are being met pretty damn well.

Querious has always been in Fix hands until the CODA episode.
SA attacked Querious twice before that, once as The Coalition. And once as SA with Huzzah's backing.
But Querious always stayed under Fix sovereignity.
Only the last war with CODA v Fix/BoB was Querious sovereignity contested.

Well isn't it the incompetence of FIX and BoB's enemies that they are still alive and not the fault of said alliances ? Look back through the forums and I'm positive you'll find posts from SA and CO. declaring BoB would fry , they might of made FIX homeless but thats all they did , made an alliance homeless and free them from the stresses of actually defending space , You could argue all day about FIX and SA but at the end of it FIX are still alive .
It would of been alot nicer thing of you to just show some restraint and wish all sides good luck instead of your original " fact stating "

MAsta u have already been joked from anyone in this post, even from Ascendand Frontier, you are ridicoulus. You have to know situation and political equilibriums before u can understand and u need try to resist under the heavy siege for as long as we did, with same odd numbers before u can talk. We were honoured to have caused such a big coalition to kick us, they did put up a nice fight and Band of Brothers decided to put his word on that. We thank them for this, but mind that they hold our territory. Your corp is already at -10 with FIX, we wait here u 13 dumb-boys to teach u good manners.

there have been 3 distinct wars between FIX and SA.
1st - shortly after the fall of CA, SA needed a new target FIX was it.
2nd - Coalition vs FIX.. when SA split many of the pvp corps formed this Coalition. Mass/Species/Storm Guard Elite etc.. and a whole load of other corps
3rd - CODA vs FIX ... where an SA that had already been through a civil war with the return of Trigger, teams up with Huzzah, Vox, and loads of other peeps...(pardon me for not mentioning you all)
I think its fair to say that throughout the time spanning these three distinct periods of war, SA and FIX have been defined by the continuous warfare and hate between them.. a nearly symbiotic relationship.
FIX's history post CFS is as much about SA as SA's history post CA is about FIX.
In reference to Tadis' post what he says is correct, FIX never lost sovereignty of Querious Space for any period of time worth talking about until the conclusion of the 3rd period of war (.. a possible record ... for holding conquerable stations continuously.. must be nearly a year and a half)
One might argue that FIX has been reduced by these wars to an alliance without territory... but if you look at SA you will find no difference... its funny but the long term war between FIX and SA has taken its toll on both parties.
However, at this moment, the big loser out of this saga has to be Huzzah .. an alliance that shows so much promise with decent leadership is about to become the sole target of an alliance with no territory and a massive axe to grind, surely thats not what you need right about now.

I find it really amusing that a SA led coalition kciks FiX out of Querious. So they decide to attack one of the junior partners.
When Huzzah joined in this war, the combined SA/HF fleet was smaller than FiX. FiX on it's own.
So shut up about being the alliance that everyone is beating on. Your sounding like PA/NVA/VA.
Good luck killing Huzzah's empire denizens. You'll find them in Catch. We are in Providence, and we are not Huzzah any more. You want to know why? Some people didn't like breaking the NAP with FiX. Admittedly FiX wasn't playing by the rules (as I understood them).

Adeptus Gattacus whining? never. I seem to remember your most respectable of corps actually killing their own alliance mates when in the CFS actively involved in a war against FA; not the brigtest of moves. Then when things got too much for you you bailed, and have proceeded to Alliance hop ever since.

Answer is yes, we have full access in Querious, I'm sure you won't hold it against me if I withhold the fine details on the matter, all I'll say is that FIX is very pleased with the arrangement. It is Ixion Unleashed btw... but I must say, Fixion instead of Fixian makes a lot of sense, never thought of that before. Cheers

I was watching a UFC match on Spike TV with one of my coworkers the other day. And you know how these things can sometimes looks pretty one-sided. When Huzzah joined in this war, the combined SA/HF fleet was smaller than FiX. FiX on it's own.

You might have had a point until IMP, LV, OC and the kitchen sink showed up at the same time, right after several of FIX's largest corps left for non-military reasons. At that point it became one sided to a pretty silly degree.

I can actually recognize 90% of the posters as folks w/ some form of stake in the situation. If it's old members gone on to different fields of experience, or old enemies dropping in to take a quick poke at us.

there have been 3 distinct wars between FIX and SA.
1st - shortly after the fall of CA, SA needed a new target FIX was it.

FIX's history post CFS is as much about SA as SA's history post CA is about FIX.
In reference to Tadis' post what he says is correct, FIX never lost sovereignty of Querious Space for any period of time worth talking about until the conclusion of the 3rd period of war (.. a possible record ... for holding conquerable stations continuously.. must be nearly a year and a half)
One might argue that FIX has been reduced by these wars to an alliance without territory... but if you look at SA you will find no difference... its funny but the long term war between FIX and SA has taken its toll on both parties.
However, at this moment, the big loser out of this saga has to be Huzzah .. an alliance that shows so much promise with decent leadership is about to become the sole target of an alliance with no territory and a massive axe to grind, surely thats not what you need right about now.
I just love it when folks post with intelligence, and clear opinions about a situation without flames, smack or hatred. The Eve-O forums would be that much more enjoyable to read if every one thought about thier post.

The reason that so many of you seem to not see, the reason for attacking HF, is that HF has something to lose, their stations and home, unlike SA who lives in NPC stations. HF also broke their NAP with FIX, backstabing in a fashion.
From my experience, HF is also a fun enemy to fight, with no smack and head on fights, unlike SA, wich in itself, is good enugh reason to pick a fight with HF.
All respect to fix, and may you keep on fighting proud.
This is my opinion, and mine alone. It has no relation to my corps official standin, so do not take it as such.

I find this highly amusing... not. Just come and fight. There seem to be very few people who fit stabs in HF. Not that fitting stabs is against the "rules" anyway.
So far the only people I fought or were in gang against were BoB and Outbreak. FIX reports do come in dayly, but there isn't any major problems caused by them. Thats no flame, for I can't be bothered showing off my epeen on the forums. Just how I see the situation from my grunt position.

Thing is; We have, each of us(HF and FIX) found the perfect enemy. The general tone is very relaxed and friendly, no smack in local...just good old fashion sporting fun between us. Some skirmishes, some ganks. But at the same time, its relaxed and gf for both sides. I'm amazed at how friendly the Fixies are when we engage them or they engage us. Yarr for our new relationship

I think I have no discovered the secret to Huzzah's success.
When they go to war they spend as much time being nice to their enemies as possible - particularly on these forums.
For example:
Huzzah on TSBS - 'Oh you are so uber - you give us great fights. You rock - wish we could be like you'
Huzzah on BoB - 'BoB are just misunderstood. They are really nice people you know'
Huzzah on FIX - 'Oh they are really relaxed. They never smack. It's so much fun fighting them. FIX give us a purpose in life.'
Over time this reverse psychology smack gradually wears down their opponents willingness to fight them.
Example internal BoB convo:
BoBa > I feel guilty...
BoBb > Why BoBa?
BoBa > Well this war with Huzzah
BoBb > Ah... I getcha
BoBa > Yeah, why are we shooting them when they are so loveable?
BoBb > I feel the same. Do you know one of them complimented me on my haircut yesterday. And another offered to pay for my Ishtar when I accidentally warped into their gate camp and got ganked.

As my uber necromancy skills have shown, this is a war that FIX has been fighting for over a year and a half. Over that year and a half, we have fought just about everyone in the south, including BOB.
It is my belief that our relationship with BOB is able to harmoniously evolve from enemy to friend to enemy to friend due to our similar codes of conduct and respect earned by one another. One can rely on the fact that no matter what the standing, the other will be a positive influence on its own gaming experience. Hope that clears up the "special" relationship between FIX and BOB.
FIX no longer hold a certain region because they are no longer able to hold that region. After a 1.5 year long war the reasons of which are many, varied, and renewed several times since, FIX has finally sustained enough major losses to lose 9cg, and while the war might be considered over for some, it is not the end for FIX.
Join us December 2007 to celebrate the three year anniversary of the FIX vs. EVERYONE war!

Do regions beget alliances? Querious, despite what may have been preached to the masses repeatedly, isn't FIX. We didn't become an alliance in order to hold territory, that was simply a by-product of the circumstances; we became FIX as an evolution and strengthening of the bonds between the independant corporations of Querious who had formed the QDF. Mutual defence, pretty simple concept isn't it?
Onto the newsflash though; we had lost 9CG before BoB arrived on the scene. Now, if BoB hadn't shown up, one of the CODA alliances would have had it..... and FIX would still be coming down to 9CG to harrass your asses everyday. Thing is, who here is stupid, foolish, or self-deceiving enough to think that BoB wouldn't grab 9CG in the manner that we all witnessed?

Guess what, the loss of your respect means little to me. You haven't fought us long enough to have any level of understanding on why such types of respect exist between some parties. But here is my offering to you; by the time we're done, I'm certain that we'll both have respect for each other.
FIX isn't 'just surviving' due to the loss of 9CG. Perhaps, if you look ahead and think about the possibilities of the future (unlike what was done in the planning of our expulsion from Querious), you may get an inkling of what could be. Survival doesn't cut it in FIX.

That said, I've mentioned the reasons behind the initial formation of the little anti-FIX coalition in the past. Suffice to say it had more to do with holding Querious than it did with kicking FIX (or trying to, anyways) out in the first place.
In my personal opinion, if we hadn't intended to drive FIX out of Querious decisively and prevent their return to the area as an established power, just Huzzah and SA would have been more than adequate. The occupation plans required additional manpower, and then the increasing involvement of BoB required yet more.
And was anybody really surprised by BoB getting involved? I sure as hell wasn't. What surprised ME was that they took as long as they did to seriously move against us in 9CG, tbh.

Well I don't speak for Audrea - she does that well enough on her own
Regarding NOS space that would be theirs whether or not the CVA existed. Its member corporations have lived in that area of Southern Providence for a long time first as part of Huzzah and now on their own two feet.
While we have a good relationship with NOS we do not protect their space for them.
We are quite busy enough trying to protect our own little patch at the moment I can assure you

I'd say that BOB's arrangement is more imperial than feudal, in that we are effectively a client state rather than a subject. It's mutually beneficial, of course, but it's acceptable to FIX in large part because it does *not* make us bow and sc*****before BOB, something that even after the beating we have taken we would find really hard to stomach.
That BOB respects us enough to offer favorable terms when they don't have to is a big part of why we accepted the arrangement. BOB has vassals, but neither FIX nor Xelas and MC would fall into that category. Lapdogs aren't effective as guard dogs. FIX is not some pathetic teacup yorkie or show poodle, we're more of a junkyard rottweiler. You try to put a leash on us, you're going to come up short a few appendages.

Perhaps I showed my teeth a bit hastily on this occasion, after dealing with gems of social prowess such as Audrea, my standards tend to get a little blunted.
It wasn't so much the mechanics of empire that you were trying to demonstrate, so much as the references that paint my alliance in a much poorer light than I feel can be justified, that caused my hackles to rise. (pun intended)

as this thread contains the word bob the moderators will not lock it as they fear for their lives..knowing full well that the bob dev alts have several hit men on retainer. moderation is well biased (with luck that should get it locked..even im sick of the drivel here)
