2 guys, named artic ice and super kilos did in my apocalypse, I wasnt too bothered, its a risk I knew I had when going through low sec.
So they ransomed me 50M, I payed them, my apoc was insured and all that, would have cost me 50M to replace it in total I reckon, so I payed them, for the convienience of not having to replace it.
Anyway they blew me up 10 seconds later, now I am back to maller and 5M isk. 
Both of them were in otou area in minny space, and use a brutix and ferox.
They work together and are in a corp called asteriod gaurdians..dont pay these people ransoms.

How can you be down to 5 mil and i a maller if your apoc was insured you should have close to 100mil.
It is good you named and shamed them though as its a cun**** thing they did. Eve aint like most other games you have to rely on peoples word to not do something bad to you if they dont feel trustworthy go down with the ship.

Tricky one that. Part of me is thinking well it's a risk, pirates are supposed to be scum so they're just roleplaying.
But, i do like the honourable pirate approach and to me ppl who break ransoms are kinda lame, and doing themselves out of possible ransoms in the future by getting a name for themselves.
And yeah this is one of the times i don't mind name and shame.

I have the feeling a certain corps going to have a lot of problems in the near future. 
They shouldn't do that, pirates don't like it, gives everyone else who pirates a bad name. Less people will pay ransoms if they think they are going to get popped, pirates get less ISK, and get grumpy at those who caused these problems.

They have broken the honarable code of pirates everywhere.
If Cosmic Fusion hear more stories of there treachery and deciet then we will be forced to act.
As a self appointed 'regulator' of pirates, we look very unkindly upon such acts.

The more pirates that don't uphold their end of a deal on a ransom, the less people will pay.. and some pirates don't have L4 mission running/production/mining alts, and piracy is the only income.

Yeah, probably. Maybe we should just stop offering... I know many targets appreciate a ransom, as it's cheaper for them.

True.. my ransoms even run on the low side, just because it adds more of a roleplay element to pirating IMO. Makes it a lot more fun than just 'boom', even if they refuse - then I can just make them go 'boom' with a bit more satisfaction, cause I know it's one of those 'I R TOO PROUD TO PAY' people. Too much fun.

Let's all just agree, officially, that pirates will niether make nor honor ransoms. Just assume that you will lose your ship at the very least. The number of gankers in EVE far outnumber any sort that would be considered "honorable pirates". Better to not get hit with a ransom + lose your ship + fittings.
Nuff said.

An advertisement. I do honour my/my gang's ransom. We ransom reasonably, hostiles, war targets, pirates and neutrals inclusively.

I am always shocked and dismayed when I hear that people who kill others and take their stuff turn out to be dishonest as well.
It just makes no sense.

Well I did a quick check, and it turns out that actually both of the characters do exist. I'm guessing that the OP made a typo, and instead of artic ice, the character should be arctic ice. However, whether or not the OP is telling the truth or not is still questionable.

Implants are a risk you take, and anyone who buys implants before getting their ship in order is in for hard times sooner or latter...

Thats bulls***, all REAL pirates have a code of honor. To break it is to forsake everyone, and they have done so... It is dishonest, unfair, and stupid. I, nor anyone I know, would ever do it. I wouldnt fly with them if they did.
