I work in IT - and I'm feeling more and more apathetic to my collegues on a daily basis. Maybe its just the 4 hours of sleep I've had for the past few months.

it's probably because you get people saying "it's broken and won't work" even though the dialogue box tells them exactly what the issue is.
Working in IT really does make you hate people, though. |

I do try to supress the hatred. Not thats its healthy to do so, however. Maybe thats why my left eye twtiches and I get 1000 yard stares on occasion..

I never thought about it like that but I realize now I was a lot less misanthropic before I became a help desk technician.
Anyway, now I'm a J2EE developer, and part time benevolent dictator. But what i really want to do is strut.

Research was fun while it lasted. But with two little children those 60-70 hour weeks do not appeal anymore...
