Tiuwaz	Posted - 2006.06.17 01:47:00 - [1] well i was a bit bored and after all those amarr whines with em dmg etc, i told myself lets calculate if a munnin, with its strong armour em resists, could survive a doomsday blast from the amarr titan Avatar Doomsdayoperation skill at lvl 1 (munnin max hp skills) raw dmg 41250 needed to break shields (1406 base hp * 1,25 from skills at 75% resist): 7030 34220 dmg left munnin armour (1781 base * 1,25 from skills) 2226,25 armour needed to survive without structure dmg 2566,5 Fazit: to survive a Doomsdayblast with lvl 1 skills you need to fit a 200mm plate or 1 EANM II (no skills needed) Doomsdayoperation skill at lvl 4 (munnin max hp skills) raw dmg 52500 needed to break shields (1406 base hp * 1,25 from skills at 75% resist): 7030 45470 dmg left munnin armour (1781 base * 1,25 from skills) 2226,25 armour needed to survive without structure dmg 3410 Fazit: to survive a Doomsdayblast with lvl 4 skills you need to fit a 800mm plate or 2 EANM II's (again wihtout skills) Doomsdayoperation skill at lvl 5 ( DA BOMB! ) (munnin max hp skills) raw dmg 56250 needed to break shields (1406 base hp * 1,25 from skills at 75% resist): 7030 49220 dmg left munnin armour (1781 base * 1,25 from skills) 2226,25 armour needed to survive without structure dmg 3691,5 Fazit: to survive a Doomsdayblast with lvl 5 skills you need to fit a 800mm plate or 2 EANM II's (with lvl 4 em compensation skill) I hope to save the lives of many Munnins with this thread, in case they ever have to face an Amarr Titan. Didn't have good doomsday op skills afaik though. That was with 4 PDUs, a damage control, extenders and general hardening.

Practically, you need to cut armour and shields by about 25% due to damage leaking. Back in the good old days of the overpowered missiles I got hit by 3 5x damage mod Doom torps in a Megathron. I had about 40% armour left and 20% shield and also a tiny bit of hull damage. New sig coming soonÖ Tuxford's good for EVE.
