Hey, just a heads up.
Bought a battleship on Escrow, and it was in zero space. I went to go pick it up, and it was at a player owned station. Long story short, I didn't have access to the station because it is restricted. The guild says "Tough Sheeeot". After it was reported to the CCP, they said "Tough Sheeeot, you should be more careful!"
Are you flippin kiddin me? Cmon CCP, this is a total bug, and yet they will do NOTHING about it. So, I will never EVER use escrow again. I know that there are bugs in any game, but I just spent 130mil isk for NOTHING! And they will not raise a hand to help out!
They cannot even police their own game. I'm VERY disappointed!
So, I've decided I'm going to go blow that station sky high to get some "satisfaction". 
I'm not a whiner, just sending out a warning to any and all. Buyer beware. Seller? Well.. PODS taste like chicken!

CCP wont reimburse you because it has nothing to do on there end, The escrow shows wich station/system that it is it. You can easily search and find out if its a player owned station. On top of that, mabye if you ask nicely, they will let you dock and get it, otherwise just put it back up on escrow for the same price from another station.

No sympathy on these forums I'm afraid. You bought a ship for other the odds in someone else's owned station, intended to be sold for their use.
Your stupidity is not a bug, and CCP have no obligation to fix that.
You are whining, no matter if you say "I'm not a whiner" at the end.
As for destroying the station, I'm sure you'll have fun trying.

Dunno where this outpost is, but you should be
having much more luck, if you contact the ceo of that seller and explain the situation.
He might be forcing that player at least to giving you the ISK back.

This is in no way a bug. You could have easily saw that it was located at a player owned station and not bought that escrow. You got scammed, live and learn.
Oh, and why were you buying a BS off of escrow for 130 mill in the first place? It's very possible that you could have gotten a better deal buying off the market.

you can put the BS back on escrow, maybe a little bit cheaper and if someon buys it you get your money back.

You can put it back on escrow (for a small loss if necessary) but yes - it's up to you to make sure you can get hold of the stuff you just bought. Sympathy, perhaps, for making a mistake due to inexperience, but no reimbursement. EVE's a tough learning school.

Screw U. I'm not asking for sympathy. I'm not even asking for your opinion. I was just merely warning people. Big difference. I'll get mine from them, one way or another.
And, actually guys, I did ask the CEO and was laughed at. I was very nice about things, thinking that there was a mistake. Anyways, I'm not new to this game, just never ran across this yet.

As for me, you may soon learn that in Eve, if someone screws you over or does something you don't like, its almost always possible to shoot them.

When you buy an Apocalypse, you also need skills for energy thingies to shoot at other thingies. It doesn't say so in the Apocalypse skill requirements.

Think of it as an opportunity
Or you could accuse CCP of being stupid because you did not check you could get to the location...

Yes, I got screwed. I'm not denying that. I'm trying to save people from the same thing. It's called public service. I should get a flippin medal! 
Anyways, people, just check the station before you buy from escrow. Don't buy from player owned stations.

what you should get is a dose of valium. You start off the thread accusing CCP of there being a bug, there is no such bug, nor was there any fault in the trade. You, the buyer, did not fully inspect what you were purchasing, this is no different to many things on escrow. Just to even suggest that CCP should reimburse you or assist you at all is absurd.
I feel I've made my point, so I'll end on that note, no doubt to get further flaming from yourself.

Just enter the ship right back into escrow at a small markdown and your loss isn't too bad if someone buys it.
What's way worse is that if someone buys an escrow the people who sell it can't see who claimed it, so they can't contact their buyers with an offer to buy the item back if it's not reachable...
