For gangs, the spawns will have to wait until all gang members have entered the complex. (although I can see possible exploits to this...)
Then the complex will be open again for other players...Different instances for the same complex. Of course this will need huge increase of memory reqs, server side and I don't know if CCP wants to have that...
This isn't WoW. Having instanced content would go against everything EVE is about. Not to mention that suddenly you'd have massive numbers of Deadspace Gear flooding the market.
...only if you kept the drop rate constant. If the rate were variable, based on the number of instances, then the number of items on the market would stay the same.
Regardless, having the same folks perma-camp the same spots is a broken system. Something needs to be done. But I think it's pretty obvious from this thread who camps them. :)
It's not a broken system. Your inability to lead and unite some players to take said complex is what is broken.

You know what needs fixing? the fact that when you quit eve while floating in the last stage of a plex, log in 8 hours later and re-appear right in the last stage again thus killing the last overseer again w/o having to go through the entire plex, then repeating it again.
THAT needs fixing..make people appear at the first warpgate after logging, just like with missions.

my thoughts
respawntimer=rand(x);
randomize it so its not so damn predictable
I like the idea too that if someone is in the area the final boss doesnt respawn..so the final level atleast has to be empty or it restarts respawn cycle for those that just sit in the final stage cloaked.

I thought they fixed that, at least the "off the grid plex logofski to take you back to grid" bug? --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE |

What you will get is 23/7 farmers still farming Non overseer rats non stop. Sleep does not matter to the farmers, since either they are superhuman, or they are sharing the same seat sweatshop style. Take the Angel 8/10 plex for example, - constant 23/7 farming for 6months+ proving it can be done. --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE |

Originally by: Navapia Wingblade That long list, while largely correct, is also slightly incorrect.
1/10 Blood Raider Complexes are the Old Meanie complexes. 4/10 Blood Raider Complexes are the Mul-Zutah monastery places.
I noticed this thread managed to work its way back to the 1st page so I updated my list with those corrections. It's great being Amarr ain't it?

Exactly. This is the life and breath of anything significant in Eve. If you can't provide something useful to someone else, then that's your own fault. No, you shouldn't be part of the best that Eve has to offer just because you want it. You only become part of the best of Eve because you have earned it. Its not CCP's problem; its not the mega-corporations/farmers problems; its not even the code's problem; its YOUR problem. That's how CCP designed the entire thing and I'm glad they did. If you don't have the time, determination, willpower, charisma, perseverance, guts, resources, intelligence, wisdom, skill, karma, luck, to do what what was quoted above, then you are not top dog because of you. If you don't like it, then do something about it. Whining, complaining and crying, isn't doing something. Its nothing more than b!tching about the things that you aren't going to do, typically followed by a myriad of excuses that continue to do nothing.

Originally by: Cpt Abestos [/quote So bascily you want the reward but without putting the time an effort into securing access to high end complexes. Should the alliance/corp that worked long and hard to have close to uncontesed access to this complex including in many cases setting up multi billion isk outposts now get less due to the massive drop in value of the items dropped from these plexes if they were made easier to access. Ab Initio had it right.
Seeyng as they were farmed, even getting to the point of porposly farming a broken one, and denying the access to them based on "first coming, gettin all forewer", yes, that what I want. Even by a Role Play point of view it is totally flawed. If alliance X control the sistem, it is only logic that faction Y move the complex in another sistem. And for your wining, the Dev have sayd that the moving complex will stay in the same constellation. So I dubt that will change much. And BTW, how can you have outpost in Faction controlled sistems?
