I will try and answer you as best I can.
Gist loot comes mostly from Angel 8/10 Complexes and above. Gistii comes from the lower lever Angel plexes.
Pith Loot coomes from the Gurista 7/10 and 8/10 Complexes.
Corpum loot comes from Blood Raider 6/10 Complexes.
Centum Loot comes from Serpentis Complexes I think. Unsure which level.
Estamel/Thon/Vepa/Kaikka/Dread loot comes from main Gurista Pirates areas. Usually Venal, Tribute, Tenal.
Tobias/Hakim/Gotan/Mizuro/Domination loot comes from main Angel Cartel areas. Usually Curse, Cache, Tenerifis etc
Draclira/Ahremen/Tairei/Raysere/Dark Blood loot comes from main Blood Raiders areas. Delve, Period Basis etc
Chelm/Vizan/Selynne/Brokara/True Sansha loot comes from the main Sanshas nation areas. Stain is one of the only areas I know.
Dont know enoough about serpentis, however, they can be found in Syndicate and Fountain.
Probably made some mistakes there but I think this is close - at least I hope so

Even if they are and you get in, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that they'll let you run those complexes. They're reserved for the elite. ________________________________________________

Your both wrong. They are fought over, and POS's are put up in their systems and then destroyed and replaced and fought over again and then, and only then, are they farmed.
Considering I have lost exactly zero ships to the 8/10 complex in the area I am near in 0.0 and several ship to PvP trying to get in that complex then it's hardly suprising that when you get the chance you will "farm" it.
The fault, if there is one, is the respawns of the keyholders at predictable times so you get a single group that can log on at the exact moment (due to timezone advantage or lack of RL commitments at that moment) and so you end up with 1 group being there 90% of the time and everyone else fighting over the remaining 10%.

Every 4 to 6 hours the same group of people, either 1 or several, run the same complexes in the same place... day in, day out.
In Empire it's a complete mobbing free-for-all with anything 3/10 or higher camped by scanners waiting for that last target to spawn. In 0.0 it's the same core group that shoot anyone trying to run 'their' complex (even allies).
If CCP would get a clue and make complexes move then maybe more people could actually access them, not the same 5% day after day.

I have a couple things to add/correct.
Originally by: Larsson7
Gist loot comes mostly from Angel 8/10 Complexes and above. Gistii comes from the lower lever Angel plexes.
Gistii loot also comes from Serpentis 3/10 Complexes.
Originally by: Larsson7

Corelum loot comes from Serpentis Complexes (not the 3/10 though, which drops Gistii loot.) Centum should come from Sansha's Complexes.

Making them move wont solve anything. You'll still end up with the same plex density over the place, and people without commitments or who have the manpower to camp them would do so. --------------- VIP member of the [23]

I like this idea of complexes moving about the map from time to time.
This would have a negative, not positive affect on EVE.
'Wealth' of regions is judged by a number of points, including available ore, sec levels, complexes and geography. By making complexes move around, you take away yet another reason for entities to fight over 0.0 real estate.

a far fetched idea would be to make complexes different instances for each player or group getting in. For a single ship it's elementary. For gangs, the spawns will have to wait until all gang members have entered the complex. (although I can see possible exploits to this...)
Then the complex will be open again for other players...Different instances for the same complex. Of course this will need huge increase of memory reqs, server side and I don't know if CCP wants to have that...

This isn't WoW. Having instanced content would go against everything EVE is about. Not to mention that suddenly you'd have massive numbers of Deadspace Gear flooding the market.

...only if you kept the drop rate constant. If the rate were variable, based on the number of instances, then the number of items on the market would stay the same.
Regardless, having the same folks perma-camp the same spots is a broken system. Something needs to be done. But I think it's pretty obvious from this thread who camps them. :)

And i think its obvious that the people who want the complexes to spawn in random systems are those same people who are to scared to, cant, or dont want to have to compete with other players when it comes to running a complex, yes, you'd rather find it in a system where nobody knows where it is and run it all by yourself with no competition.

I think he means that some uber alliance he never has any chance of competing against, little chance of jointin and even less of ever getting the chance to run the plex perma camps it makes trying to run it nigh impossible for all, but the elite few. Making them shift around a bit would give people a chance to get to it before the alliances are all over it. Boohoo you can't keep your little bauble forever. If anything it'll add more intreague the complexes shift around and it completely changes the dynamics of all of the systems surrounding it.

Thanks for all of the great information.
I saw an Aston Martin Vanquish the other day. In the spirit of everyone whining, I think they should change the price of exotic cars. So that instead of buying a MINI I can buy a Vanquish. Oh, but wouldnt that make them less desireable? Hmmmm must ponder.....
Bottom line.... life isn't fair why should this game be? Flame on!

It's not fear or anti-social tendencies on my part. But you are right that I can't compete with the current players camping the spots. So yeah, I really would like to be able to find it before someone else does and actually have a shot at doing it. What's wrong with that? A big corp has a much better chance of finding it first before a small corp or solo player.

Surely having these deadspace areas appear in higher sec areas once in a while would allow all players a chance to find some 'hard to find' items of loot?
I know there's a reason for most of this stuff appearing in the low sec areas but it does restrict what a fair percentage of the players can do.
This also I would guess leads to players spending all their hard earned cash buying kit to fly in these area's but then not being able to for fear of getting swamped by a pvp corp wanting to keep the low sec areas to themselves....which is fine i guess...but a little unfair to those people who dont have the time to invest in being part of a megacorp but still want some new challenging scenarios...
Surely CCP have something up their sleeve to make things a little more balanced?

Having run a couple of 7/10's successfull I do feel there should be an easier way to check if the complex has fully respawned. Definitly with the ones that start with a chest(which you cant see if its filled or not).
There should also be a way to kill the people inside the complex. Make it more dangerous to run them. And gives you the ability to kick out people.
For this I suggest that once you open a gate with a key, it'll stay open until the final boss has been killed. No overseer's should respawn until then (normal BS / cruisers / frigs / etc should respawn). And, as long as someone is in the complex no overseer should spawn either. That will stop people from just farming the end-boss.
This will make it easier in some ways (you can warp out and get back in without running into a closed gate), but in so many ways its that much more dangerous, definitly in 0.0. No more 'I am in the second stage of this complex, I am safe from those PvPers'.
To stop the grievers (e.g. people that steal the kill on the overseer) in +0.5 I suggest that concord will no longer warp in when you agress someone. You cant warp into a complex, how come concord can. There should be risks with running complexes, and not just from the rats.
You could say this could / would allow piracy in hi-sec, but I'd feel thats better then having the overseer get shot by a griefer and run away after you just spend 30 mins clearing out the stage of normal rats.
Lets see someone run a 7/10 complex 'solo' then in his 3-5b ship and have 5-10 people jump in system.

So bascily you want the reward but without putting the time an effort into securing access to high end complexes. Should the alliance/corp that worked long and hard to have close to uncontesed access to this complex including in many cases setting up multi billion isk outposts now get less due to the massive drop in value of the items dropped from these plexes if they were made easier to access. Ab Initio had it right.
