actually ive just made a newb error

one on each weapon system is effectivly fitting 1.5 dmg mods.
but really there isnt much of a problem with it. i may take the bcu t2 off remove a scrambler and stick on a target painter.
but yeah might havta down grade to dual 425's and stick on the much needed cap booster. ive 500 grid free still with one RCU t2 its quite lush *with setup posted*

Heres my current setup
3x arbalest cruise launcher 1x arbalest heavy launcher(to be replaced with another cruise soon as i train eng lvl 5 and advanced weapon upgrades to get more grid) 3 x domination 1200's 1 x drone link augmentor
2 x eutectic cap rechargers 1 x extron target painter 1 x sensor booster(alumnel 57.5% till find a cheap f90)
1 x 1600mm rolled tungsten 1 x true sansha adaptive nano 2 x tech 2 rat specific hardners 1 x domination large armour rep 1 x tech2 ballistic control 1 x f85 damage control
btw dont moan its crap for pvp as i have no interest currently in pvp play im just a mission runner.anyway feel free to tell me what you think im always willing to learn from others.

The rule of thumb is to downgrade T2 to (un)named T1.
There aren't many setups that absolutely depend on T2 to work, although (obviously) they will work better with than without.

just remember that anything listed as "precision cruise" won't work with T1 as you need T2 launchers to fit the proper missiles.

My noobish t1 PvE setup.
Hi: 4x Siege, 4x 650mm ACs Med: 3-4x Cap Recharger 0-1x AB Low: 1x LAR, 4x Rat Specific Hardener, 1x BCU, 0-1x Gyro 0-1x CPR/PDU (for fitting).
And 5x Sentry drones and 5x Mediums. ----

web, scram, MEDIUM electro cap booster, 100mn ab
1x large rep, 1x medium rep, 3x hardners 1x named dmg control
5x heavy drones, 10x light(for ceptors)
or replace heavy nos with more guns and heavy drones for heavy NOS drones
dont nerf this one its only 20kb |

Better with an ECCM rather than an ECM perhaps? Or even an injector (if there's spare grid).

how this fit? not using siege II mebbe? i tried with 4x siege II and a faction RCU and it's not even close to fitting. but in theory it sounds nice.

Only problem is with the dual 1600's and the AB duna if i be able to get the acceleration, still it is the phoon so its pretty fast.

A 1600 plate takes away very little agility from BS. Typhoon mass: 100.000.000 Plte TII: 3.750.000 With 2, you'd get roughly 7% increased time to reach warpspeed, and about as much decreased AB/MWD effectiveness. To get that in perspective, turning on AB or MWD adds 50% to your mass.

high: 4x t2 650mm autocannon 4x t2 cruise missile launcher
med: 1x t2 100mn ab 1x web 1x 20k scrambler 1x multispectral
low: 3x t2 hardener (they say 3x adaptive nano t2 is better tho, didnt test yet). 3x 1600mm rolled tungsten. 1x t2 large armor rep.
dronebay: 6x t2 berserker 5x t2 warrior
still very fast because typhoon is the fastest bs on base speed in eve. It has over 18k armor with very good resistances. I has a long durability, and can deal a nice amount of damage. although not as much as the tempest.

If I fit an AB I'd probably go with a missile boat and Nos. That way I can orbit with the AB on and make those turret ships have a heck of a time tracking. Otherwise with a plate on, and especially with 2 plates on you will not close fast enough with an AB. Just as soon be lucky enough to start at proper distance, or abort the fight.
If I double plated I'd probably fit a tracking disruptor and again missiles because closing is tough.
As for target painter, its the only damage mod that applies to all weapons. That being said, it makes no sense to fit Gyro or BCU. You'd be better off boosting your tank.
And kessah, Hate to say it but soon enough reality will set in. People will be right back to using 4xsiege 4xNosferatu because split weapons is dumb recipe for death.

5 Berserker IIs, 5 Valk IIs
It does about 650 raw dps with fusion. |

cruier weapons ftl? or duals?
and I find that the AB is useless, that (in belt combat) if you don't come in at <30km you need to rewarp. ----
