The above is a mission running set-up, it would suck at belt ratting, carrying cap boosters is a logistic nightmare. Forget about staying in space for expended periods with them.
The AB is a must unless your prefer not to use your autocannons against battleships that like to stay at range. I find it quicker to chase them down, web, turn off AB, kill and move on instead of just pounding them with cruise missles and drones.

ugh, guys pve and npc setups are really no brainer setups tbh.
Stick some pvp setups up 
I like the idea of loads of HP but im not to keen on using t2 cruise launchers, just like hitting in the extreme on the phoon, makes a nice change to see a scary dmg phoon.
Can anyone be bothered to work out the dps of a 4x t2 siege with fury and 4x t2 650's with hail, with no dmg mods then with 1 then 2?
Would be gratful

Actually u make a fair point about the reppers, without cap injectors it is prolly best to use just one t2 LAR, and use that last slot for more hardening or HP, or mebbie a dmg mod.
Thing is with a dmg mod on auto cannons i wouldnt have thought for example 10.5% on a relativly low ROF and low Base dmg mods would make THAT much of a difference.
What i mean is a 10.5% on a 2.9x mod wont be as big as a 10.5% on a 10x dmg mod for say artillery, so im still fairly dubious on whether to fit tank or gank. Also Torps already are quite heavy damaging so is it worth sticking a t2 BCU on?
I am new to matari havnt actually stepped into a matari bs with my new t2 launcher and Projectile skills yet, But as soon as i heard the phoon was getting the touch i wanted to spec in it.
I personally think the phoon (on paper anyways) could be on par with the raven, since it has more fire power and a larger drone bay.
Phoon is definetly my ship tho

This is a sisi setup but might be worth a look:
4xSiege t2 w/ rage torps 4x Dual 425 t2 w/ barrage
Heavy electrochem injector, 2x target painter 2's, 1 mid of your choice
LAR2, MAR2, 3x EANM2, a damage mod, rcu2
5 T2 heavy drones
High sp req's but should throw out good damage, especially with rage torps hitting for 900 each

typhoon with all 8 slots used for weapons and with its split weapon system doesnt stand a chance against any kind of dmg-setups like blasterthron and others.
simply like this:
typhoon with 4 sieges + 4 guns need to fit 4 dmg mods so each system get 2.
blasterthron with 7 blasters(or whatever they can fit) need only 3 dmg mods to get right those 3 on their only one and primary weapon system.
So basicly you need to sacrifice 6 lows for Typhoon to get same effect on both weapons as other ships need to sacrifice only 3 to get same effect.
IMO, old good tank setup still works best.

I think if the MegaT is kept at 10km'ish' i reckon the phoon could stand a chance, as the t2 fury torp raven is quite capable of killing a Blaster mega.
Since the phoon has 4 torps and 4 auto's i think it can out damage it, so its possible, i reckon so anyway. Guess il find out sooner or later, will be waging a war on Blaster mega's freakin hate Gallente Blaster mega's. Actually most Gallente tech

It's odd, because.. My setup for my typhoon is still the same, it kills Nos-apoc, or any dual rep battleships. It can tank a t2 raven and kill it.
Odd how you think this little bonus change affects already good setup

I'd go for the Pair of BCU's over a BCU and a Gyro. You can get a decent RoF on the Torps with 2 of them, slapped on it, second one should take a couple of seconds off the RoF.

I think a 25% rof bonus to missle launchers (bs lvl5) is hardly a 'little' bonus. Just how the Raven's 5% rof per lvl is hardly a small bonus.
Repectfully i feel you do not know\understand the actual difference this bonus creates. 8 high slots both dmg bonuses for each weapon system, it creates a very versatile battleship.
I shall be frapsing every engagment i have while im in its driving seat, one ship that is rarly seen 'pwning' on the eve movies. Always lamo blaster mega movies ZzzzZzzz imho  --------------------------------------------------------

well, DPS versus decent tank tradeoff isnt very good.
like someone above said a siege\ac phoon gets 650 dps, while an old tank one can dish out 440-450. -=-
