/me kisses db ass
can i join? ^^
why dont u just go and check public corp channel from the bob corp u like and ask
"what do i have to do join u uber cool bunch of eve gods" or just check corp description normaly u find someone to talk too.
On a more serious note, i have to agreee with dbp here, guys with loads of sp tend to feel uber - this is mostly if u have bought the char and no idea about it. Known forum *****s/celebreties, often pay the account to ***** the forum. Problem with fcs is mostly that all the alliances work different and so do the fcs so if a good bob fc joins d2 or whatever it doenst mean that this will work out that well. I show u how to lead your fleets check it here |

Awe, you don't need a good name to get the honor of primary from BoB... just call the fight for your side.
I do agree though... for once, with them. Forums are not the place to go apply for corps.

To the OP: If you like challenging the strong you should go challenge them as they are the strong now.
To the A 'team': Guys lets lobby for making the name column on overview unsortable.

With that being said, I have great respect for what BoB can do. They have some of the wealthiest individuals, largest corporations, greatest amount of natural and artificial resources and strongest leadership in the game. Some insinuate GMs and Devs are amongst their ranks. If you want to play EvE on easy there you have it - join BoB.
Me, I don't like easy mode. I'll continue to fight bob when and where I can be effective.

Easy.
People keep saying this but it doesn't make it any more true. Eve on easy mode is living in NPC stations, not claiming space. That is easy.
Why? Because you have complete freedom in choosing your engagements. Odds don't look good? Log out, go play on an alt. It's not like they can hurt you while you're not online if you have no persistant assets.
BoB may appear to have it easy, infact the alliance does have it easy. Why? The individual players play hard, they play hard and they play for the team.

People join BoB because they like the way that we play the game, not because they "think its the winning team". At least, thats how I interpreted the post.
FYI. Paraphrasing the OPs post incorrectly damages your credibility, not his.
Sorry Ab, while you're point is correct and almost certainly wills some people to join BoB the chief reason is because they want to be on the winning side.
Theres not enough people willing to be the underdogs in this game.

I think it would be fair to say the members, or "Grunts" as sometimes said, in bob have an easier job that those in other alliances. However, it is alot of effort in BoB, as they expect alot more activity and participation from thier members. Signtaure removed. - Petwraith |

I don't like easy mode either, I'd love to have a big challenge. But what do you want us to do about it ? Disband the alliance ? Leave all the people you have been playing with for 2 years and join some random other people just to get a fight ?
Having a challenge is nice, but playing with people you like in an enviroment that you like is more important for me. I will never leave RKK. If RKK or BoB would disband I'd probably leave the game, not because I want to be on the winning side, but because I just wouldn't be able to get the same amount of enjoyment from the game in any other corp or alliance.

Do you think what has been achieved by BoB came with exploits, GM assistance and magic wands? No, I didnĘt think so either, trying to maintain those standards is no easy task, but BoB reach new heights that, I, personally like to endeavour to beat, I'm of course not speaking for BoB here. People say BoB may be the best fighting force in EvE and they can't possibly fight anyone else because it wouldn't be a challenge, well do you see 900 man fleets going into each system? I don't I see roaming gangs from each of the four corporations brining it to many parts of the map simultaneously.

Quote: I couldn't careless if someone had 3 million sp or 30 million sp because I will still turn them into a killing machine.
I find people with 30m skill points have 10m skill points in carebearing, whereas a 3m skillpoint character has nothing to lose but everything to gain by being pointed in the correct direction by what they enjoy doing. So those corps that say "20m or less dont bother applying" lose out on training up loyal pilots who will eventually make a corp.
Those corps that employ only the celebs or high end skillpointers miss out on so much.

Maybe we will? Maybe we've been running round the map trying to **** off enough people that they'll come and get us? What Lorth says is 100% accurate though - at this time, what's the point? We can go and get our combat from road trips whilst we build our infrastructure in Delve, Fountain, Period Basis and Querious - we've already completely moved our operations once, when we moved from the North to Delve, and that was just under 18 months ago - and that wasn't to a "weak" foe, because we faced both FIX and FA and whoever else fancied a go - when eventually "The Five" was formed we still had lots of work to do, you guys still outnumbered our primary fleet when you wanted to.
So, yeah - maybe we will, but don't say it like we haven't already done it once, and that even after BoB (pre-dian) had been fighting for nearly 12 months anyway.
It isn't just us that can attack, Baun, and with pos and the game being what it is it is now inordinately harder for us to do the same thing once again... maybe the titan will fix that, if CCP ever give us the damned skills and make it worthwhile to use in-grid in fleet combat, right now it's just an 80b isk target.

Typical blinkered baun response.
MortyM was in RKK when we took the north. He was also here when we took Delve, Fountain and Outer Ring. Two of the biggest challenges in the game to date.
He has already "tried it" and will no doubt be here when we try it again. That was what he posted.
