Not really, just like moaning about it from time to time when topics about name changing come up. Probably wouldn't change it even if the option was available though :P

Nope, just a fantasy.

Hiply was one of my AD&D characters, became my first (hopelessly gimped) character when Asheron's Call launched, and I've used it in every MMO I've been involved with since then.

Also, toon names that start with lowercase letters drive me nuts.

I like more realistic names. I don't like names that are comprised of words, or that try to sound too badass, or that reference other IPs. People need to be more creative. But perhaps not as creative as I was, as nobody can pronounce my name.

I do like creating names by juggling with letters and syllables.

But still, better a Deathwing or Starseeker than Sir Buttcheek Fapsworth or xXD3ath888Xx or some (usually misspelled because taken) Game of Thrones reference.

Seems like you got it right. Hard to be certain from writing. People seem prone to switching the z and e for some reason, saying UnZEKa. Or Une-Z'ka I guess. I dunno.

Its You Nez Kah. but Ooo Nez Kah doesn't sound terrible either. Definitely not Neez/Knees. People don't even attempt the last name but I think you got it right. Two (the number) Ree (Reason) Gahl (I dunno how to describe this), not Ter (Turd. Turtle) Rye (bread) Gal (opposite of Guy).

I dunno if I'd get your name right. I'd say ReeRia. Wouldn't have known it was referencing another IP. Twinpeaks makes me think you're referencing your boobs.

I'm with Scipio on this one. This happens to be a name I ended up with, but I (unfortunately) end up being identifiable no matter what handle I'm under.

I think in EVE, more than other games of its kind, what you do is much more important than your name. After all, what the heck is a "Mittani" and why is there a "The" in front of it? Same for "Chribba" and "Awox".. these have meaning to us because of the stories associated with them that are told over and over as part of EVE culture.

I don't care, just put in my real name.

I took most of my character names from the books by Peter F Hamilton.

Unfortunately the character name I really wanted was taken by a dead trial account a few months after the game launched: Ione Saldana :(

I was gonna name this char Rocco Siffredi, but it was taken, so I though if I where a European **** star what would I call myself. Darko Atlante, also I name most of my chars with Balkan names because Balkans are badass.
