recently fixed and being cool: typhoon, sentinel, moa, condor
there are many best; from Dramiel, executioner, hound, Megathron, Abaddon to Rifter, punisher, prophecy/hurricane, Nightmare..
note: mordu ships so ... not cool as much as SoE ships

I don't really care what they look like, my computer runs at the lowest resolution possible to handle several accounts. If all ships were only spheres or cubes of different sizes and colors, fine. Increase the usable not the eye candy content in Eve making ships usable, stop changing their specs every 3 months just because and I'll be happy. |

First, battle royale, loves vs. hates. I only took the top/bottom two from everyone on this thread so far:
Most loved ship(s): Scorpion (Widow, frequently), Dramiel with 7 mentions each
Runners up: Manticore (5), Thorax/Phobos (4), Stratios (4), Nyx (4), Nightmare (4), Machariel (4)
Most hated ship: Imicus, with 15 mentions.

Now general appreciation vs. causes for concern (all mentions, ignoring previous winners):
Appreciated: Moa (8), Typhoon (7), Rifter (5)

Controversial ships: Barghest (3 for, 5 against), Thorax(4 for, 3 against)
Finally, racism-
3 counts of general praise for Caldari, 5 against. Truly a Marmite race.
8 counts of hatred for Gallente (6 of which specifically mentioned Gallente industrials)
4 counts of hatred for Sansha.
1 count of hatred for Minmatar.
1 count of praise for Mordus Legion and Angel Cartel each.
Go figure, CCP would do well to redo the Imicus, Bantam and Blackbird ASAP. |

From a race standpoint Caldari as decent I suppose. I dont think any ships in Eve are really supposed to look good lol.
But best looking ship(s) I would give to Noctis and Gnosis for the unique factor. |

Domi is getting an update soon-ish. So it shouldn't be on the list.
Exequror is god awful. Imicus I guess is the runner up. Cynbal comes third (It looks like a slug. Why would you want that as your ship?).
Lots of other t1 ships that are ugly as well (Minmatar/Caldari cruisers and frigates mostly).
Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end. |
