Can we please receive SP refunds for Anchoring V?

This means the only skills that require Anchoring V are now Outpost Construction and Large Mobile Warp Disrupter II Many of us have corp management alts that have been trained for the specific purpose of managing corporations and starbases. Since the Anchoring skill itself has no benefits, and Outpost Construction / Large Mobile Warp Disruptor will never be used by a corp management alt, this is now effectively wasted SP. Please refund the SP for Anchoring V upon request, much like has been done in the recent past with other skill changes. Thanks. New Fitting Window \| Distances above 10km \| Maximums for buy orders

They've done pretty much every angle over the years. From GM skill gifts, like medium drones, to skill compensations for altered prerequisites, to - indeed - compensations for removed skills. It's how I ended up with some 4M+ unused sp's when I reactivated this account. There's never been any rules or such to it. Past performance, no guarantee for the future plus HTFU & all that. Considering however that upon my return I found an EVE with an actual SAFETY (!) mechanism, I'd have thought they would be catering more to retention/conversion crunch points these days than in the past when it was always a spur of the patchday kind of thing.

Actual reimbursement is rarely done, I only know of the learning skills and when the servers were DDoS'd some time ago. Let CCP Greyscale explain it to you how CCP feels about reimbursement.

You'd be surprised to see how few people actually leave over **** stirring up in relation to what is brought in with conversion focus. Especially once players become a little vested, it's rare to see groups quit. The only hickup which did have an impact (and which CCP did jump on) was some years ago, the internal newsletter leak thing, there the numbers were of interest. But in terms of feature / content aggravation, sure there's been factors that influence retention (anyone remember sovereignty based on pos spamming), but that is fully manageable in relation to CCP's efforts on conversion (bringing in trials, and seducing them). I know, it's something a lot of people say very quickly - omgquit. The reality is that 1. CCP can replace a heck of a let with their existing conversion focus and 2. it barely makes a dent unless it encroaches on non-feature/content issues, like the trust relationship between customer / provider.
