So... i've heard the arguments about it being to expensive to create avatars that could wear whatever was in store... i.e. wearing a the fairly simple mens dress shirt, that looks like a uniform shirt, rather than the crop top that passes for the female version...
oh and by the way if you truly wanted not to be so sexist CCP all you need to do is design clothes for the female avatars that offered choice which would include less sexualised option, you know, like a uniform shirt that would be recognised in any military setting on the face of the planet...
but i'm really posting here to say... that if we are going to be able to wander around outside our ships (which we can do in the capt's quarters and much more hopefully in the future) and you do want it to be an immersive rpg experience then maybe you could bear in mind that this is an rpg spaceships sim and your not trying to sell spaceships using the usual 'car' sales tactics using scantilly clad slim female models draped all over them...
this is not just a woman's gripe... i've had plenty of chats with guys in this game and others, and theres evidence from various surveys that everyone... all gamers... given the choice want... choice... want to be able to customise and dress their avatars as uniquely as possible and quite a lot of guys who play using female avatars dont want to make them into barbie dolls...
so spare a thought for choice... find a way to build in from the start... and if you can why dont you just stop putting such stereotypical clothing on the market for the female avatars in eve...
give us choice and we'll give you our isk and real life money... it makes business sense... and you know it might just be one of the reasons you dont have as many women gamers playing eve... just saying..  |

and for the reply about imagination... well yeah, except everything in the game starting with your in game personae is sooooo customisable why on earth should we have to 'image' something thats perfectly do able?
