Alt Was training DA4 last night when I logged off. logged in this afternoon. Evemon says Im training DA4 with 16h free room in Queue. Client shows me with an EMPTY Queue. Shows DA4 with 9h 13m left to train on it. I readded the DA4 and added DA5 on top of that and clicked apply. Got msg "trying to load an illegal queue" and the skill queue would not reactivate. Clicked on "remove" skill. Got msg "Cant remove the skill as it is not actually loaded. Please close Skill Queue and reopen to remove the skill" I close and reopen the Skill Queue and its EMPTY again. DA skill simply will NOT begin training again....Yes I have posted a bug. Just relating my experience here.

Also got this skill lowered to 3, read the threads on the forums, sent a ticket, got a response that referred back to the forums.
That was four days ago and not fixed so far, so now I'm resorting to impotently whining on the forums in frustration. |

Yep. Fixed one day, then down again the next.
EVE Mon now shows 4, but EVE shows 5. Still wont allow DLA II to be put online.
So nice to have a thread to complain in

Yeah, I know it is not that simple, but you still have not fixed the Drone Avionics issue. Come on an get cracking CCP devs, life is hard without Drone Link Augmentor II.

I just started training the skill again...
It won't show up in my Evemon and such, and shows up double on my profile :/
I may be wasting 4 days retraining, but I have no idea when they plan on fixing it and I want to go do things :P.
Maybe, just maybe they will work on it this week?

At least you're *able* to start training it again. It doesn't matter if I try to set it on queue or 'force train' it over the skill I'm training now - I still get 'illegal queue.'

My skill is still at 5, but I cannot use any my Drone Link II because it says I do not have the required skill level, even though my skill page says I do.
Not much of a problem for me atm, as my drone range is above my target lock range, but still annoying because I do have the skill, but am told I do not =P |

I'm getting the same, had DA at V, it dropped to IV, get illegal queue when I try to retrain it.
On a side note EveHQ is reporting 550k more skill points than the client, even taking the cockup with DA V (210,745SP) into account I appear to be missing around 330K+ SP for no apparent reason.

So two patches since CCP broke Drone control range modules and there's been no change. Would be nice to have a Dev let us know what is going on rather than just saying they are aware.. I'm very glad that some of the changes in Crius are now in German but drones are completely broke.
Had this happened to, say, a Gunnery range mod, the forums would eat CCP alive. When we fly drone boats that are drone specific and don't shoot fancy lazers or missiles we get crippled by this. Pretty sh1tty customer service if you ask me. |

I had issue with Drone Avionics too, it was reduced from level 5 to 4, then after submitting a ticket was back to 5, yesterday again 4, and today back again to 5.
However I think there are other issues.
I made a test that confirmed what I suspected yesterday, the drone control range is incorrect, is 20km more that expected.
Apparently the bonus is counted twice, one for level 4, and one for level 5.
The funny part is that at the end of the test, on the wrecks I found two drones  |

There was a dev response somewhere that said the issues arose becasue somehow some characters managed to get two copies of the skill book injected.
Sounds crazy too me.

if you read your logs you'll see that it result as a "gift" from a devel - basically they ran their script to fix drone avionics for a few account that didnt get upgraded correctly during kronos skill switch, but they used "insert" instead of "modify" (somebody shold get a swift kick in the junk for this).
now we have two skills with same name/id, the server get confused and crap out with random results. |

Well, in my case
Was at V, got dropped to I, can't train, getting illegal cue error message, evemon shows skill at V.
Ticket in day after the "gift", got copy/paste reply ....
Don't see many that dropped from V to I - especially since I had the original skill at IV |

I also had that illegal queue problem, but for some reason clearing my cache allowed me to queue the skill again.
I still have that double skill in my profile (here, not ingame) and have a difference of quite a few skill points between Evemon, my mobile app, etc. and my character sheet, and no ticket reply :(.
I feel like I somehow ran into a work around for myself, but feel I am at the same time queueing something that isn't there (as it doesn't show up some places and it was already at 5). This leads me to think that after these 4 days of retraining I still can't use my DTA2's again.
I rely on my drones, this isn't fun

Yep, no point in putting in a ticket when the GM is only going to tell you that they know about it and will be fixing it soon (tm). Now we're three iterations down the road and they have yet to fix the issue. Very disappointing. |

Put in a ticket complaining about the skill back down to IV and DLA II problem and received the standard response of "We're aware of the problem" etc. - logged in again a day later and it was back to V and no more turning on the DLA II every time I jump into my ship.
It still comes up as having Drone Avionics as IV in EVEMon but I can live with that for the time being (and it being beyond CCP's control obviously) - no idea what changed as I still have the GM Skill Gift IV in my skill history. |

This issue is into the realm of total BS, CCP staff screwed up the skills on some characters and has taken over a week to have a "possible fix". How about a clear answer of why you could not just drop the drone avionics skill from the module for a few days while you figured out which players you screwed with? |
