You have GOT to be kidding. This has to be the WORST support system I've seen in the past 5 years of MMO's.
The last MMO I played the support staff were actually able to HELP people with stuck petitions within an hour or two. Meaning a GM actually showed up IN GAME and helped you out. It would take an hour or two most of the time. Maybe 3hrs when it was during major game updates.
The actual petition system in the game is HORRIBLE. You can only have a limited number of petitions pertaining to each subsection of the petition system. So if you have 2 issues that require a Reimbusement, oh sorry. You'll have to wait the 3+ Weeks for us to get around to the first before you can send in the second.
The fact that it takes WEEKS for petitions to get cleared up is horrendous.
I can understand with obscure/rare technical problems, but simple things like looking at the log files and seeing why some training time disapeared, or reimburseing someone for when a system goes off line or something similar?
I understand that they are in the middle of a changeover, but it's been like this since I started.
I have 2 petitions in that are almost to the 4 week period.
A MONTH!!!
And you have the gall to say it's a great support system?
Sorry, but in the last 3 MMO's I have been in over the last 5 years, a WEEK was a long petition time.
I love this game, and I like how the devs do most of the things they do, but the support system in this game sucks. And it's that simple.
As for labor laws, I didn't say cancel their vacation, I said postpone it till they get the support cue cleared up.
A tad angry are we?
Have you checked your E-Mail for a response to your petition?
I've been playing eve for going on 3 years and I've had nothing but good dealings with the support staff.
The longest I've ever had to wait for a stuck petition was 11 minutes I think. All my other petitions were answered very promptly.
The reason I tell you this is because contrary to what you would have everyone believe that reads this thread, CCP does an excellent job when it comes to support. Some people slip through the *****s (like yourself) but for the most part alot of us are handled rather promptly.
Now that we've totally derailed the original topic, I'd like to say thanks and have a wonderful vacation CCP. |
